Mattresses - I need knowledge

We've got 4 John Ryan mattresses but I need a cheaper mattress for a short term rental. Any recommendations for something more around £250-350? That Dreams one above doesn't look bad, but also curious about one of the Emma/Simba's etc as a) easier to get into a flat and b) no springs to damage.

Reposting this again before we buy an Emma Premium!

Which stores did you find had the Emma Premium in to test? I've also been debating whether one of these would be good for us but not sure who stocks them on the high street to go and have a look/go!
Sorry mate, didn't get a notification for this !

Like @aVdub we tried at a Furniture Village (but bought direct from Emma)

Arrived in the week, along with the topper and new bed. Moved out old bed into the spare room and the old bed out the house

New bed, mattress and topper all ready to trial tonight

Bit of a cross post from Man Jobs but :

Before (sorry not sorry for the mess)

We have the same type of bed and have just boarded it out and placed 5 lockable wheels to it. Makes it a one person job to move now and no need to empty the base first.

I take it the cat moved before you put the bed back there

Ah nice one! Yeah it's pretty hefty now with the mattress and topper on! Mrs even struggles to lift it and get to the storage section :D

edit: The cat is 20 years old and is currently constantly trying to find the most awkward and inconvenient places to position herself

Yeah the new mattress does seem heavier than the last one.

You can upgrade the hydraulic lifters if I remember correctly, but be careful, you don't want the misses chinning herself on the turbo speed
riser bed

They seem a little but DFS for sales TBH :D

First night review .....

Mattress and topper - good stuff and full marks

New duvet - need to take one of the sections off, was cooked alive by 3.30 am .

Yeah I know I wrote that and it is true, but there might be a sale there, perhaps

We noticed straight away how warm it felt when getting in. The old mattress was like a sheet of ice...

Has anyone got any experience with the above mattress? Have seen them crop up a few times online for reasonable prices and lots of good reviews. Costco have some good deals on them atm (£160 off - £640 for Super King!) so contemplating getting one when we move house.

I went ahead with this and had it delivered and first night last night.

It's a deep mattress so you'll need deep sheets for it. It's also bloody heavy but by god is it comfy... Fantastic night's sleep. Then again, it's replacing a bed and mattress that's 15 years old so it was bound to feel comfy

It looks great but would reeeeeally like to at least just see it in the flesh first. Going to see if anywhere local stocks them.

Which bed is that out of interest?
Looks like an ottoman which is what we’re after. Like the headboard and colour of yours.
