Mattresses - I need knowledge

The Origins Pocket 1500 in king size is what we bought back in 2015.
Just looked up the receipt, £515 it was, crazy that it is £810 now!

Are the Simba and Emma type mattresses available in any stores to try? I'm interested to see how they "hybrid" model feels, compared to just a good quality pocket sprung.

Bought our Emma Premium end of July this year and we both totally love it.

It never feels cold when getting in, doesn't move when someone gets in or out of bed and for us, is very comfortable.

How often do they have sales on as they are 50-60% off atm.
Might just wait till Black Friday as by that time we should have a good idea of if/when we will complete on our house.

I think that's one of those DFS sales that are always on.
I'm sure I paid around £550 in July and on checking again it is around the £470ish

I bought a silent night eco-comfort (firm) 1400 pocket spring on offer for £260... should be arriving tuesday

Bought it blind but it had a big discount so we will see!

Anyone any experience of the "Pocket Spring Bed Company". Can't really find too much about them online.

The 2800 spring count may be a bit of a swizz as 2000 of them are "mini-springs" and the main pocket springs are only 800 in total, but it gets some decent reviews on Costco for just the mattress.

Even the hallowed JR don't know too much about them apart from apparantly being the high-end arm of Silentnight.

Have the same as you and have had it for a few months now and totally love it, with no complaints at all and that is from two people who have completely opposite opinions on what we need out of one.

They always do :(
They do indeed !

Brill, thanks mate and yes, that was.one of the things we both liked when we tested them. That and I can get on / off the bed without catapulting her out the bed :D

My OH although in the petite size turns over during the night with the force of 12 Bull Elephants and could launch a satellite into near Earth orbit if they placed one on her.

Now, she can destroy worlds, defeat the Devils massed armies and I remain deep in my dreams

I've raised the bed up 6cm when I fitted a new base + lockable wheels and have found it to be a really nice stable platform when getting in or out.

Which stores did you find had the Emma Premium in to test? I've also been debating whether one of these would be good for us but not sure who stocks them on the high street to go and have a look/go!
