Yeah thats true, as soon as I seen them I was like ONOS then I remember halucinations and thought that msut be it! They have the over the top action so thats a good thing! :) COuld be good!

I really enjoyed Hitman, thought it was a great action flick. Then again I have never played the game :p

Doom I took it as it was and I think it was pretty good as a tongue in cheek blast em up. Shame about the deviation from the actual Doom storyline (Hell vs Bioexperiment) but its a fun film.

People take themselves and some films too seriously imo.
 
I'm also surprised how well Mila Kunis managed to pull off Mona (although you don't really get a good look at her in the trailer). I thought she wouldn't be the right person for the role being a bit on a small side.

Agreed, at least 'visually' speaking she seems to fit the part.

Mona didn't really have much of a part in the original game though, apart from being shot and disappearing in a lift in the last level (which looks like it is in the trailer).
 
Love to know what Mark Whalberg was on when he accept this role. Shooter - great, We Own The Night - great, this - :confused:
 
So many negative people in this thread, I thought the trailer looked great, it almost feels like a traditional film noire but updated for the post-Sin City cinemagoer. Hope they draw from the first game for their plot, thought it had the tighter storyline of the two (though the second had tighter outfits for Mona:p)

Err you played the max payne series? If you have you may notice a great deal of similarities before any other film/game similarities crop up.
