Lighter weight for the assistance work again, ready for bench on Sunday :cool:

Assistance Work:

Cable fly's 5x15
Dips 15x5
Tricep pushdown 5x15
Cable curls 5x15

Tried out a new gym for when I move, access to to a squat rack will soon be mine.

Pretty pleased with the benching again today.

Single leg press 3x16
Leg Extension 5x15
Calf stuff 5x15

Cheesecake gains are paying off.

Various raises

Slightly down on the end of the last cycle but let's see how next week goes.

Strength has gone up but visible gains are a bit poop...

Honestly thought I was going to either pass out or crap my pants on the last 5 reps :eek:

Couple of times I had to take about 5 seconds to fire myself up, am I now disqualified. Very pleased all round though.

Assistance Work:

Couple more deads as I was feeling like a boss

Tiny bit down on last week which is annoying, but I got drenched on the way to the gym and had no spotter /excuses.

Tried some sets of paused squats @ 60kg, hng.
Single leg press
Lunges

I'm pooped.

OHP:

55*6 (Quite pleased with that, last rep was a struggle though!)

Assistance Work:

Seated shoulder press
Cable up right rows
Incline rear delt flies
Numerous raises

Really enjoying 5/3/1, the assistance works seems to be very flexible so I can just focus on hitting the main lift.

1RM on bench from Cycle 1 was 108kg, Cycle 2 is 105kg.

This should not be happening on 5/3/1/ as far as I'm aware :confused:
