You did have the option of not clicking on the thread and coming in to the thread and viewing the offending pictures. I suggest you exercise said option and then we have the best of both worlds, you don't have to get offended, others don't have to stop drawing daft pictures. Pretty much a win/win situation.

Very true ! ... religion has always been pointless to me and I will never ever be convinced that it does any good to anyone which is why I am a devout atheist and proud. People can spout their religous mumbo jumbo all they want after all everyone has a right to say what they like, but what I hate is the way they expect everyone to listen and be like them.
