BTW on the topic of Freedom of Speech, a cartoon is not speech. Speech is words. Go say the Holocaust never happened in Germany/France and see if you don't land yourself in Jail.

I don't think Sharia Law will ever make it's way to the UK. Even some Muslims I know don't want it in this country. I can't say much on that subject tbh.
But that's just the same with most things in life. People tell jokes that they know will offend some people, TV shows and films are produced that might offend some people, as well as many other things. It's just life that some people will get offended by some things and you just need to learn to deal with it.
Reminds me of Theo Van Gogh getting killed regarding one of his films on the violence against women in some Islamic countries. Shot and stabbed over a film. Fantastic.

the point is though, if you don't want freedom of speech then you obviously want us to follow the governments idea of what is correct, which is essentially a form of shiria law, weather that be shiria law or Christian law or whatever doesn't matter, the point is we should be able to choose and say what we want, not what the government tells us is correct. religion shouldn't have anything to do with government other than allowing the freedom to do what we want.

Yeah well, works both ways. Do something to offend, people are going to get offended. So whether they want to drop nukes, or kill or whatever, just have to deal with it.
The point is to highlight and ridicule this, because it is absolutely farcical to threaten to kill over the drawing of Muhammad, IMO of course...
We don't stoop low, as Jesus known to us as Isa (pbuh), is also a prophet of Allah, as we believe.

but the point you must appreciate is the freedom to do so if you wish. no one is saying it is a good idea. Just that the freedom to do so is what makes our country great unlike the poo hole that is pakistan.
If you want freedom of speech people are going to get offended occasionally, but it is just words and pictures. no one is killing or blowing any body up!
