I'm sorry for wording that badly as it has come across daft.

My Muslim brothers/sisters get killed in Afghanistan/Iraq/Palestine and yet I seemingly have to deal with it. That's what I'm on.

Not really, open your eyes. Yes in other peoples eyes it's daft for killing someone for drawing a cartoon. But when the cartoon is of a Muslim prophet, then yup they'll be pee'd enough to kill whoever drew it.

Open your eyes! Drawing a picture DOES NOT equate to killing someone, no matter what or who this picture is of, get some morals.

There was nothing wrong with the 'first instance' of the artists drawing yet they were killed for it.
This has started because some radicals thought it was ok to kill in the name of god due to an illustration of a prophet!
All the people are doing now is retaliating to show they cannot be censored by the threat of violence and death!

I haven't read the whole thread but I assume when you talk about people dying in Afghanistan and the like, you mean the war?

That is not for religious reasons and is certainly not because of a drawing. That's one big difference. I am against the war though.

At the end of the day IMHO this matter is down to a lot of people being tired of the over the top reaction by some faiths/cultures to certain things.

In this case, harmless cartoon depictions of Mohammed. This has resulted in death threats and worse. A lot of people have had enough of this sort of thing, and worse still, the threats actually working. eg: Most recently Cartoon Network caving in...

People simply want some pretty simple common sense. If you don't like a cartoon depiction of something/someone, fair enough. Ignore it... But don't start going jihad over it threatening to kill people!

Worse still, when this tactic then works and we have to walk on egg shells and censor material

Maybe the Cartoon network decided not to air these so called episodes because they didnt want to alienate the normal law abiding muslims???...you know a bit of respect and tolerance towards muslims in general...ever thought of that??...no of course not because there always needs to be a sinister reason behind everything isnt there??.
