Mayhems Pastel White Splitting

Not exactly helpful when you just want to get some assistance.

Seems the members are somewhat righteous too. Nice group to join... That alone makes me look at alternate suppliers..

I couldnt agree more, I posted asking for some help, all i got was a barrage of how Mayhems are beyond reproach and that I must have done somthing wrong.

I should add, i'll wait to see what Mayhems themselves say before commenting on their customer service. As up until this point its just been Mayhems aficionados.
 
I think it’s totally possible I’ve done something wrong here, not sure what but I’m going to strip the system down fully run a blitz part 1 on the rads, rebuild, run a part 2 on the full loop and then try the pastel again. If it still splits after that I’ll do another strip down and switch to a clear coolant with additives.

All part of the learning process :)
 
"Oky guys weve been looking into this. There is an issue but its random. Been chatting with user support (ian) and there has been an increase of issues. Weve opened up some bottles and its completely random issue. We are pulling all sales of pastel until we resolve this issue and find the root cause."

Fair play to them, i'm really impressed with their integrity that they've come out and admitted there's an issue.

A lot of people in the group are going to be eating some humble pie.

This is great news! Shame its happened but great they have looked into it and identified some kind of issue.

Typically I just pulled the trigger on a blitz kit, some clear coolant and more TIM. I figure if they do have an issue they may offer FOC blitz kits and coolants :(

Just had an email from them, theyre sending me 5 litres of Ultra Clear H20, and the X1 and the Full Blitz Kit.

Looks like the pastel is coming out until they resolve the problem.
 
Hmmm, not sure if I should even open the unopened bottle of premix pastel white that I've got.

I’d be very hesitant to add it back to my loop considering the work required to strip it all down and clean it should the worst happen. Up to you really, you could pour the mix into a bottle and leave if for a while to see if it’s splits. Probably the best thing to do though is to drop them a line and ask for advice on how to proceed.
 
I made a post on their Facebook page, then was asked to raise a support ticket via their website.

I'm assuming they're sending me clear fluid.
 
I raised a ticket straight out, initially asking for advice on the blitz cleaning kit and whether or not the part two would clean the gunk out of my tubing.

Support has been great, new materials will be here by Wednesday.

X1 clear concentrate I believe they are sending, together with water and a blitz kit.
