That was before, this is now.. Mayweather / Mosely pulled in twice as many PPV's compared to Pac-Man vs Clottey..
What would be a fair comparision would be DLH & Ricky Hatton bouts since both have fought and all were PPV. Anyone know what the final PPV's were for that? Even then an argument could be had that Hatton has his own following as does DLH.
Mayweather is the bigger attraction over in the USA and most money will be coming in from the HBO PPV, so he does have a good case to ask for more of the split.
As predicted, Mayweathers's team are now demanding more of the purse split.. Obviously Pacquiao's team are refusing, so this time round it's not the drugs which will throw this bout off, its now down to the purse split..
Where's the confirmed sources for this?
Too much false information going around the internet just now regarding this fight.
Reported by "The Philippine Star", not exactly an unbiased credible source of news now is it![]()
Probably not, but if i was Ellerbe i'd probably be trying it on... After all if we all weigh up the facts and figures, he probably is entillted to a bigger slice of the pie.. This is HBO, Floyd is American most of the fight money will come from America...
but Pac doesn't need Mayweather since he's more than happy with his political career so if it's not 50/50 it won't happen IMO
My understanding is that Pac wants one more fight (pay day) before moving into politics full time. I think he does want this fight, if only for the final pay day.
Mayweather is a decent guy all the other stuff you hear about him is just hyping up a fight. Mayweather has the right to ask for 60/40 as he always generates the most PPVs.
Looks like this fight won't be happening, Floyd is going to retire for a year or two.
