McDonald’s general discussion

I need to try our local Wendy’s. Used to love Wendy’s when working in the US, I think it was actually the first food I had when I arrived. We have a Taco Bell near us too, can’t beat the grade F meat :)
Our local Wendy’s is about 25 miles away in Hull. I work in Hull and tried a burger, fries and a frosty. The burger was ok, on par with BK and McDonald’s but the frosty (Their milkshakes) are awesome.

I’m losing faith in McDonald’s chips. They feel like they’re too soggy and undercooked nowadays, and less seasoned? Has the recipe changed or something?

They brought out the McRib over here. Was super disappointed. Unsure if it's just nostalgia but i loved a McRib/Rustlers ribwich back in the day but just wasn't for me.

I'm also struggling to justify the main burgers now. It's €6.90 for a large triple cheeseburger meal, but around €10 for something like a quarter pounder. Just makes no sense!

I’ve given up with our local. Takes longer than a sit down restaurant now the delivery services have taken over.

But even if you want to eat in.

Call me old fashioned, and I appreciate this is McDonald's we are talking, not some fine dining establishment.

But the whole sit down meal experience is completely ruined these days as well.

They are basically outlets.
