Double Big Mac, nice, needs more cheese though.

I do like the double Big Mac, but personally, I think the grand Mac’s better. I feel the normal Big Mac should be the size of the grand Mac. Big Mac is supposed to be a big burger, but in reality, I can polish one off in about 5 or 6 decent bites

I was unfortunate enough to have a double Big Mac yesterday evening and I thought it was pretty awful. There was far too much meat in it and by the time I’d struggled half way through, it had basically fallen apart.

I don’t know if it was badly cooked but the whole thing was very dry. The second half went in the bin.

Given we’ve all had every combination of meat, cheese, sauce over his knows how long they seem to be focusing on different ratios of meat now to keep things ‘fresh’.

They need to sort it out and start doing the proper promos again like Tastes of America. The South Carolina stack was immense

It might just be me but I’d genuinely struggle to differentiate it from one of their other burgers. It’s just beef, cheese, bacon and a ‘special sauce’. Even the sauce is mayo based so the only real difference between that and a Big Mac with bacon would be a differently flavoured mayonnaise.

I agree. I was at hospital for far too many hours yesterday and I wanted something quick and simple on my way home. I left the hospital after 22:30 so it was proper late. All I’d had was a bowl of Rice Krispies at 09:30.

I went through the drive through after placing the order on the app (to get the points) and just had a quarter pounder with cheese. In the car park, I breathed in and it vanished so I went round again and got another one.

That satisfied me. I think it takes a lot to beat a staple product like the quarter pounder (with or without cheese), no pickle.

Yup they definitely need to be more adventurous on the specials. They keep recycling the big tasty, etc every year.

Would love to see the quarter pounder deluxe again though. Wonder if it is available to order like a special menu item?
