if you buy one of those cheap little hamburger/cheeseburgers, the pickle really does make the burger :p

on a side note, the mayonnaise they use for their chicken sandwich is devine. I want! :(

Found the recipe for Mcdonalds Gherkins:-

Pickle Slices
Cucumbers, water, distilled vinegar, salt, calcium chloride, sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate (preservative) - (depends on country), natural flavor (vegetable source), alum, polysorbate 80, turmeric.

No, if they're ****ing about with things that I'm going to be putting in my mouth, they shouldn't be working there.
Thing is they'll still be working there if you complain or go to environmental health, it doesn't work with one customer complaining, if you go in there and think the customer is god and demand loads of annoying changes you kind of deserve to have your burger gobbed in.

Though tbh, if you eat mcdonalds you're a fool anyway. Horrible ****.

What? No one deserves to have food they're paying for ****ing spat in. Who the **** raised you? Christ, they must be proud.

I rarely goto McDonalds as I find it never agrees with me, but when I do, I really don't want to be eating luke-warm cardboard, which is why I ask for no gherkins so I can get one freshly cooked. I am not rude to the staff, nor am I demanding or asking them to do anything tenuous or tasking. Spitting in someone's food as they've been asked to do something which they're already under contract to do, is crossing a very big line.

Oh, and if I told Environmental Health what I've just learnt from this thread, they'd actually be obligated to investigate. Even if I worked at McDonalds and some customer was being a complete bell, I would never spit in their food. What the **** is wrong with some people? Honestly.

I work at McDonald's and I have never seen anyone spit in anything, or doing anything like that. I'm not convinced it actually happens. The kitchen is all open after all, everyone can see whats going on.

Like-wise, I never saw or heard of anything nasty going on, though we did sometimes take the mick if someone asked for extra of something.
