MCU to "Refocus” and Disney sinking faster than the Titanic (Starwars is dead Marvel is dead)

I thought they binned the initial "troubled" production material and completely reshot it to match the well received DD series, but I'm not a big enough DD fan to keep upto date with all the changes they've made TBH.
Kept a fair bit by all accounts and then rewrote/reshot around the stuff the deemed 'good'.

I hope worthy of the Netflix stuff as Punisher and DD are my favourite marvel TV series to date.

This is really ******* me off now.

Give Marvel and Star Wars back to their original IP owners.

Disney, go back to being Disney. Is it not too difficult to go back to Tangled/Frozen/Brave, a time when fairytale IPs were doing well? It wasn't a million years ago either. Or is fairytale IP too offensive now?

Here's to hoping they don't bugger up the Lilo & Stitch remake.

Wouldn't do a lot of good for Star Wars, Lucas is 80 and when asked about why he sold to Disney a few years after the fact, he factored in age as part of the reason, he was something like 71 or 72 at the time and he reasoned that a trilogy would take too many years to do (he reckoned close to 10) and he was too old at that point to put 10 years into a trilogy.

Ed: ^ he talks about it in this clip.

It's just less damaging and expensive to keep announcing movies and then cancelling them than it is to make them.

Disney: The little studio who cried wolf.
I don’t get why they announce stuff that isn’t already in production. I know you have to build the hype these days but it’s probably best to wait until you have a script and are on set shooting.

Finding it quite amusing that all Disney Star Wars have left is Rey. They have ran everything else into the ground.

Brilliant!!

A victim of their own idiocy. It’s actually quite impressive to have an almost unlimited budget, complete control over one of the most successful movie franchises in history and to screw it up quite so spectacularly. I’m pretty die hard Star Wars and even I’ve lost interest.
