Hi there

Memory prices have hit an all time low, it is believed the prices have now bottomed out.

Take a look in our PC4200, PC5300, PC6400 and PC8500+ sections and you will see some truly fantastic prices from Crucial, Corsair, GeIL and OCZ.

For example 2GB DDR2 Kits now from £49.99+VAT. :D

I can't believe how much they have dropped in price over the last 3 months. The OCZ RAM I bought for 160 is now 105 - that is a 34% drop in price!

If I was going VISTA then I would definitely consider it.

Damn - couldn't resist the urge to go for another 2gb Ballistix to compliment the 10th anniversary ram...

it's crazy, I paid £200 for the anniversary!!

HI there

Yes our Ballistix prices are crazy low, amazing really when you consider what good memory it is backed up by such a great RMA service.

Check out the Crucial 8500 price, we are £50 cheaper than Crucial direct. :D

All the ballistix is cheaper than crucial direct which was a bit of a surprise to me.

To think I almost bought them yesterday aswell... thanks Gibbo, although you've just made me spend my money when my mind wasn't quite made up about getting another 2gb! :P

Which memory to go for...

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK)

OR

G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-6400 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ)

or wait for more companys to bring out 4gb kits, specs are gigabyte DQ6 mobo, E6600 cpu, X1900 graphic card, Vista ultimate OS

Anyone got a link to the cheap set?

I see cheap stuff, like £31 per GB stick but I don't see any 2GB kits for £58.

:edit: Found it :D

The prices are fantastic, however it makes me cry when the corsair ram i paid £197 for before christmas is now down to £111 :(. The monkey on my shoulder is urging me to buy more

Same, but I need memory that will do atleast 500mhz 4-4-4-12... :(

Excellent... i'd just made my mind up to order a 2gb Crucial Ballistix kit, and now OCUK have dropped their prices even further... timed that just right

:p

Hi there

Yep our prices on Corsair, OCZ and Crucial are very competitive if not amongst the cheapest about. I am glad Corsair have finally responded and started to compete with other manufacturers on their pricing. :)

What impresses me most is our 8500 pricing on OCZ, Corsair and Crucial.

H'mm nice prices but well I got OCZ 4 x 1GB DDR2 PC2-8500 1066MHz SLI™ Ready Edition for £200 brand new, dont worry no one will ever know where I got them from etc, hopefully they will do 500FSB with all 4 sticks in the slots. . . anywhere near is good enough.

2 Sticks of 2GB are rated at 800mhz i.e 400FSB 1:1 & can the OCZ's be pushed further has anyone tried? unless you can get hold of the Expensive Mushkin line that will anyway.

Mushkin 2 x 2GB 1066MHz Latency: 5-4-4-12, might be worth you looking at Gibbo because at the moment they are the only company that has sticks of that calibre, I'm sure OCZ, Crucial, Corsair are disecting them in there R&D labs so they can copy them. . . . ;)
