They are very good, and very well priced. The first service I had with them I asked for all the plugs to be changed too, and even then it only came in just above £600 I think.

Will be interested to see how you get on as my fully Mercedes serviced W205 has just got an EML light and code is a faulty NOx sensor on bank 1. Car has only done 70k, I also pay for the service plan.

No update yet im afriad. Turns out my Dad hadnt had it diagnosed by a Merc dealership, instead went to a merc "specialist garage".

Needless to say, they have no record of his issue and my moan to merc was well...pointless. So in turn i moaned at my Dad :D Who will now go to Merc, pay another fee for the same diagnostic. This is what happens when you help family :D

Lets see what they say.

Does anyone own CLA 200 the new facelift. I currently have C200 coupe and my pcp is finishing. I’m worried going down from 2L to 1.3L will be massive downgrade or are the new engines efficient enough.

Managed to get out for a short drive yesterday. I had booked it in for a remap with DMS but I think it's fast enough as it is for the time being. I'll concede that command is not as good as idrive but it's still a good system, just not as intuitive or user friendly.
The interior is such a massive step up compared to the F3* 3 series. The M3 I drove was so rattly and the road noise made it unbearable. Plus I think for an estate it just looks fantastic at every angle. Need to get out and drive it more. *snip*

Love that C43, understated.

Decided to take the plunge on fitting an Apple Carplay/Android auto box for my PFL C63. After doing a few long trips, I ended up using my phone on a vent mount which is not the best solution. Anyway I bought the IMI-1000 box from Command Online. Richard there was super helpful and guided me through a couple of steps via facetime too.

Operation is brilliant, it works vi the aux output (which has to be enabled via an OBD2 dongle), utilises the steering wheel controls, roarty dial, everything! Flips to reverse cam(if fitted) quickly also. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to any other PFL W205 owners if you are hankering after carplay/AA.

Good effort @NathWraith !

Notice you’re running Burmester too - bet its a hell of a complete system now

I’m just about to switch to an F31 with Entry_HU, and was tempted to do the switch to an ID6 NBT Evo myself, but I found a guy who’ll do it for £300 labour (+parts), and has done a tonne of them, so no risk of breaking anything :p

On the Burmeister as mentioned to me by someone here, the difference between Bluetooth and cable connections is significant. Bluetooth creates a thin sound a cable connection much fuller. At first listen I was underwhelmed but after plugging in much better and for me the surround DSP adds nothing of benefit.

Did a European roadtrip in the C63 at the end of August, was absolutely incredible and, 1300 miles or just over, the C63 was brilliant to be in for that amount of time. We drove from Calais down to Stuttgart and stayed there for a couple of days. We stayed at the V8 hotel which was bloody beautiful and they treated us so well. Invited us to park in front of the hotel, which was great of them but looked fantastic so hardly that bad for them, probably a good advert.
Went to the AMG factory, 40 cars parked up at the main part of the factory. The CEO's right-hand man came out to ask a few questions and we thought we might be moved on or something, but turns out he was letting the CEO know, who was so impressed, he came from his house to meet us. Spoke to us for ages and had photos and was just generally a top bloke.
Then drove to the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart. They saw us parking in the normal visitors car park and came out and asked if we'd like to park in front of the main doors and create a display. Properly rolled out the red carpet for us.

Had an evening driving through the Black Forest. Then it was driving up to the Nurburgring where we stayed for a couple of days in some villas. Didn't go on the track in the end as it was hammering it down with rain, and one of our group totalled their car that morning, so I wasn't going to chance it after that. I had a few passenger laps though and paid for a lap in an M5 which was nuts, you'd have thought it was a dry track the way he drove it :D

Was an epic trip and just made me love this car even more

160mph on the autobahn is quite the experience as well....At one point I was just sat cruising at 140 for a good 2-3 minutes and some BMW flew right up my bumper, flashing me to move out the way, was pretty surreal.
