Metal Gear Solid. The Phantom pain.

Afaik. Dwalker always has the gatling gun equipped as standard :D

Nope :<

I just have these god awful tranq guns that are horrendous, it doesn't give me the option to change it in my sortie, and now I've landed I've just got the tranqs :|.

Odd... I'm almost certain once I'd researched the gatling gun it auto equipped into dwalker. Hmm. Sorry! I can't think of any other way to equip it. Have you tried going into customize while in the ACC?

Sorted, I am a dope.

Found the customize menu in ACC.

Done mission 22 FOBs I can now do. I not bought any water to build my base. If I dont build it will this mean I wont be playing online? I dont want to be online just single player for me.

If it does go online am I correct that other players can only take from me wants on the FOB platform?

Am confused about all this FOB I hear people having all there staff taken from them lol

Guys, can anyone help please? Ive just built a new system and I saved the shortcut folder instead of the save game folder. Has anyone got a game save from mission 7 or 8 I can use please? I have quiet or had her and I just can't be parsed to play it all again

Been playing on ps4 and it is just perfection. I do agree the story is a little light compared to others but it is there in the tapes for those that want it.

If i find myself getting a bit frustrated i soon unlock a new feature/item that brings a lot more to the game! Only at mission 18, been doing side ops and stuff along the way. So many gameplay mechanics all pulled off really well for the most part, and it certainly feels like everything can be tackled on the fly as you like.

The open world itself is perfect for me at the mo. Im fed up of all these massive worlds filled with side quests for the sake of making it seem like theres plenty of good content. I find the Witcher suffered from that for me towards the end. Sure most of the side stuff was fine but it did get a bit much towards the end and became a massive drag for me.

Hope there is more than just desert like locations cos i really wasnt fond of that first chapter in afgan.

Please tell me its not 90% in the desert type areas like chapter 1. As i tried to be stealthy and take down ppl in the town, ended up getting alerted by someone and next thing u know the ppl u knock out wake up grr and radio in then u gotta go rush to em which is miles away then if u start shooting cos tranq gun has run out and nearby base sends reinforcements all the time, loads i thought, it was never gona end. Then it took me ages searching the town for that contact which i eventually found by going to a place i was at once before just the dude was in a very dark corner and easy to miss if u wernt REALLY looking hard enough for someone as he looked like part of the background chained up on the wall.

Had this on ps4 and sold it got to mission 10 but seams very repetitive and the build a base and upgrade stuff pretty boring. I loved MGS 1 and 2 and got bored with 4. I think the best bit was the prologue but then it's goes off track with all the missions and development stuff. I just want story line, good setting and a forward progression.

It really bugs me that when you get spotted it takes your silencer off. Why!?

I'm just in the process of saving some guy. I have to switch between controller and keyboard as i don't know all the keyboard controls yet :(

Different genre but have you played the last of us?

Still the best game I have ever played.

Exactly how I'm feeling

Too many developers are going with these open worlds, hundreds of side quests, sparse storyline etc.

I'm enjoying it when I get to a mission that has some decent content, but going around and extracting people all the time is becoming a strain on my enjoyment.

Kojima should've just focused on the story and less on the open world in my honest opinion.
