Typical misogynistic behaviour from them tbh. The poor ickle woman must be upset and terrified.

Ok this one of them stories where nobody looks good. The comment harmless enough but equally makes the person writing it look like a Buffon for mentioning something complete irrelevant and daft. The owner equally over reacts and comes across as a white virtue signalling knight, if he felt that strongly about it he could have reported the review for moderation.

If that did happen, do we genuinely think the takeaway owner would post a reply ensuring that it was a female that delivered to the reviewer going forward and, if he actually did that, it would garner the same level of praise or interest?

Edit 2: also seems like his mediocre chippy (ratings wise) is enjoying a reputation bump via plenty of 5 star reviews with comments admitting they have never used the chippy but support him... A cynical person may think that's convenient
