Not possible. I'd discontinue watching all/any of his content immediately.

I know a lot of people aren't fond of him but Jim Sterling (who has enjoyed the previous Metro games) feels that this is worse than the latest Far Cry (New Dawn). Anyone played both and have any comparisons?
Oh, interesting. Wonder how it runs on a 1080Ti.
Apologies, I wasn't drive by trolling if that was your impression. He explicitly stated that he hasn't had "a single moment of fun" playing it within the first minute of his impressions video and since I actually regard Jim quite positively (although admittedly he does bang the drum a fair bit) I wondered how much hyperbole I had to subtract. He didn't quite put it like that... he just said that he was having more fun playing the new Far Cry - he had plenty of positive things to say about Exodus but then concluded that for some reason he just wasn't really enjoying it that much
My issue with the "this is next gen graphics" is that... it isn't. It has thoroughly mediocre textures, it has pop-in up the wazoo and plenty of other issues. Hybrid ray tracing looks good, no doubt, but what about everything else? And even the H-RT implementation itself isn't perfect, there's plenty of sections where it falls flat, and while some may say "bro that's just how it should look", that doesn't mean the look is good. If all we care about now is lighting then by that standard the Quake 2 fully path-traced is still way above Exodus (obviously I'm not saying the game itself looks better than Exodus).
Imo it still doesn't rise to the level of a Wolfenstein 2 - graphically.

Good, glad you got it sorted !Sorted now thanks.
It is the same character you playing throughout all the 3 games so I would think it be best to play the others first, but although I have them I have not got around to play them myself either. Also not bought this game yet but most likely will next year when it is back on Steam.Im interested in the game but i havnt played the 1st 2 is it recommended that i play those 2 1st ??
Are you basing it on your own playthrough? Or is it purely based on a compressed video from youtube? Because having put 20 hours into Wolfenstein 2, whilst graphically a nice enough game it isn't up to the level of exodus maxed out in HDR on my Oled (and that is non-ray traced, which looks even better assuming DLSS isn't enabled). Frankly that Digital foundry video manages to make the game look rather average.

at a minimum Exodus needs to release a HD texture pack to be in the running.
