Metro: Exodus [E3 2017]

I will buy this game but not at the price they currently want. Also as per usual I prefer for the games to be patched up a bit before I play them.

I usually buy when it hits around £25 market.

Still have Tomb Raider and AC Odyssey to play (as well as a few others)

having put 20 hours into Wolfenstein 2, whilst graphically a nice enough game it isn't up to the level of exodus maxed out in HDR on my Oled (and that is non-ray traced, which looks even better assuming DLSS isn't enabled).

Can you provide some Metro Exodus screenshots please ;)

Bit the bullet on this, never really played the first two for more than an hour.

This looks a lot better, bit steep but by the time im finished with this and RE2 im hoping Crackdown 3 and Anthem will be cheaper!

Crackdown looks so bad they'd have to pay me to play that game lol.

First two games are definitely worth a play through.

Just picked it up, had a crash at the first monster QTE, switched to DX11, went past it, but the gamma is all off in this, blacks are so washed out, also, no FOV slider... I'll wait for a bit to try again.

Just finished this. Great game, I didn't have any game breaking bugs thankfully, but they're rife apparently, seen loads of people have to restart chapters because the game softlocks, or corrupt their game completely.
I had to up the FOV because I got severe motion sickness, but when you do you get weird graphical glitches, that's the biggest drawback for me. I also wouldn't classify the game as "Open world", the last level is pretty much as linear as you can get.

does anyone here have the aurora edition PC version? I am asking because there is supposed to be expansion pass included, but there is only one code. So is the pass included with the code to the game itself or am I missing something?

Glad I never got this now.

Pretty sure it was always classed as semi open world.

It was and frankly I'm glad it's not open world, plenty of other games available for an open world fix. It would have been too big a departure from what the series is good at. I like the mix of both open levels and claustrophobic environments. It has got the balance broadly right.
