Clicking DLC in the main menu brings up the website to buy this expansion for £6.99, why isn't it free?

Last I heard it seemed like the DLC wasn't working correctly via the EGS (maybe fixed by now not sure)... it's working fine for people who have it on Steam and for people who acquired it illegally though

It's not free, some editions came with the DLC pass included. That said, it's quite cheap for single player content, presumably it won't be all that long.

If I press on DLC in game, it takes me to buy it for £19.99. This is on Epic. I can see it's far cheaper on Steam.

Anyone else getting crashes?

Since installing the DLC, when I open the game it's defaulting to 720p, extreme and DX11, ray tracing off. If I try changing any graphics settings it immediately crashes to desktop so as of right now the game is literally unplayable

I've just read that it will show on the chapters part of the game rather than the DLC button.

Ok i got the crashing sorted - make sure msi afterburner and RTsS is turned off.

So I played a couple hours of this game on my OLED with graphics maxed and it looks gorgeous! My problem is; it doesn't keep my interest. Anyone else find the game extremely linear, scripted and boring?

The dlc looks fantastic but that’s all it is, a demo for some new RTX effects.!too short and no variety.

The real DLC is coming in q1 next year, that will be a much bigger proper DLC and cost $30usd

I've not played Exodus but I have the other two. Despite loving Stalker, for some reason, I struggle along the same lines you mention where the Metro games are generally concerned. I've completed the first but seldom feel the desire to go back to it, and Last Light I've still yet to finish.
