Whether Lewis' cutting was pre-meditated. If so, very smart although ethically not so, but then again, Lewis is racing Nico who has a habit of resorting to underhand tactics on occasion.

Good race and good win for Hamilton!

started off a bit jaggy but so did half the field in that first corner!

Max should not have been penalized and Vettel is just a angry teenager on the block getting schooled by the new kid on the block(Max)

If you are going to penalize Max, do so for Hamilton, Roseberg etc etc as loads of them cut that corner.

What Vettel done to Riccardo by changing direction on breaking block riccardo was out of order as well.

Give me strength. Whether Vettel was alonside or in front is totally irrelevant. Max locked up and didn't make the corner. Had he returned to the track before turn two rather than cutting it, he'd have lost position. Therefore he maintained position by cutting the corner. Open and shut case.

So everyone who goes off should get a penalty then?

I know I'm in the minority, I just thought the way the penalty was applied and Vettel and fezza behaving like 2 year old was pathetic.

The F1 rule makers and stewards are just laughable.

In hindsight it was probably a 2, but i got carried away after Vettels hissy fit.

10 - 8 to Hamilton in poles but 9 - 8 to Rosberg in race wins.

I think to avoid controversy Rosberg needs to win one of these final 2 races.

What is the comparison when taking into account Hamilton engine failures in qualifying, which is two failures and Spa to give him engine parity with engine penalties, which isn't his fault, that would be three. There was a 4th where he had no chance to win due to starting in 10th but that was Hamilton's mistake in qualifying causing him to miss Q3 running.

In races there are the three he started from the back that weren't his fault and his engine failure in Malaysia. So on a level/fair pegging, both with an equal chance for pole and to win, it's 10-5 poles to Hamilton and 8-5 races to Hamilton.

There is a reason a lot of people think (know) he's only ahead due to Hamilton's luck with reliability.

Yep.

Someone a week or two back asked how Rosberg could be considered an 'undeserving' champion having won 9 races this season. How about if Hamilton wins 10?! :p

Verstappen made a mistake then thought Hamilton/Rosberg got away with cutting, so tried it himself. Hardly terrible, Vettel turning into Ricciardo which meant Ricciardo had to change line himself under braking which caused him to flat spot a tire and they still made contact 2-3 times.... Vettel did that seemingly on purpose because he messed up his line and left a giant hole for Ricciardo.

To me Vettel's actions were significantly worse.

LOL! :D

Any news about Ferrari/Vettel being called to the stewards for Vettels outbursts? Many other sports he'd be given a swift spanking for that. Sadly, not watching the post race stuff, SWMBO has commandeered the remote to watch Strictly....

LOL, grow a pair man! :p Haven't you got another TV in the house? :)

Ferrari/Vettel will get some serious comeback for those comments, he has to as they need to draw a line.

We have the move under breaking from Vettel, something the whinge bag has been bitching about non stop. Also really both Hamilton and Rosberg should have got penalties due to similar issues if Verstappen is to get one.

It's the same old crap, it's ok for some but not others, no consistency at all in some of the decisions.

Also that run off area should be gravel not grass, that would have solved the issue.

I can say I would not have given up the place, 3rd to 5th is hardly worse than 3 to 4th, 3rd is the only place worth having out of the three.

Personally I am fed up hearing Vettel whine like a baby, for god sake he is a 4 times world champion, try acting like one rather than a baby chucking his toys out of his pram.

Fair play to Rosberg there for stamping on that comment rapidly. Sick and tired of Sky's reporters continually trying to stir things up for the sake of a story.

Max is a little ** Please fully star swear words - EVH **. Max proves once again he is an arrogant douche. he should have had 2 penalties. bouncing Rosberg off the track in the first corner. at least the FIA was right on giving him a penalty for the fight with vettel. blatant cheat and poor sportsmanship not letting vettel through and then blocking him for Ricciardo. I hope Ricciardo leaves RBR in 2018 and Renault leave them out to dry, I hate that team except for Ricciardo who is my fav driver w/ Alsonso

good job for Hulk. his deal with Renault seems to have given him a bounce in his step :)

bit disappointing for Perez and Guttierez for their home race.

overall race was boring except for last 5 laps
rating 6

Ted just hit the nail on the head. Saying the feeling he's getting from other teams is that they've had enough of Max's antics and it could backfire badly on him and Red Bull.
