mice everywhere in house

As lovely as the dog would be, a mouse catching dog would probably smash your house to pieces in the process. I've got the worlds clumsiest labradoodle!

Ha you're probably right, it would be like something straight out of a cartoon with tables, lamps etc flying everywhere. The dog would love it though :)

We had a rat problem a few years ago.

We ended up killing 7 large sewer rats, which had come over to our house, becuase the next door neighbours, keept rice etc in their garage.

We killed them using big old industrial rat traps with bait. (White Chocolate)

It worked. Just stick em out at night and in the morning your find dead mice.

Dont use poison, becuase the mouse will eat it, then go off and die somewhere where you cant get too and then your have a bigger problem!

STINK!

Get two cats - never one.

If the dog doesn't like it - get rid.

If your brother doesn't like the idea of getting rid of the dog, then get rid of the brother.

I suspect that your mouse infestation is largely caused by food scraps and waste being left around. And a large part of that problem will be dog food. Get rid of the dog.... Oh! I already mentioned that :)

+1000

i have two cats - the mice dont stand a chance :D :D :D :D :D

I have the same problem, but with slugs instead of mice. I have come to the conclusion that they are able to teleport, as their trails start and stop in the centre of the kitchen floor .

Buy a plug in residual current circuit breaker. Plug something in into it (say a cheap figure of eight lead)

Smear said lead with some sort of food substance.

Mouse will eat food & chew through live wire - electrocuted to death - job done.

Dunno if this will work, but it would be fun seeing what could happen to said fried mouse. :D :p

try the humane traps - smear peanut butter etc on the end. There is no risk of it not triggering as it uses the mouses own weight. Then you can either take it for a long walk before releasing it into the wild or see how far it can fly from a catapult.
