> If you could enable more verbose logging on your end that might help explain what is going on,

this is essential, in order to see the exact failure code for the https/tls connection failure. without it you simply cannot debug any further. and the original logs does not show it. but it is a critical information. if that was an application log, then either the app needs to switch on more logging, or you need to delve into windows event logger world. to see if the underlying library / api callout had gotten logged those error properly.

I've never cared much for Windows 11 mainly because its very bloated but I came across something called Tiny 11 which is a modified cleaned up Windows 11 that I might try on a seperate SSD sometime.

When I upgraded from Windows 10 to 11, I noticed slightly longer boot up times as well as using slightly more ram.

Would be keen to see how much of a improvement if any Tiny 11 offers over the standard version.

I was just looking for something for an old dual core 2 duo toughbook and the bloated version off windows 11 that comes with all the extra rubbish and restrictions would be too much for it. I was looking at Mini 11 or Windows 11 LITE which can run smoothly on older systems. I didn't really want Linux on it. I heard good things about Tiny 11 and wanted to try it out on an old machine to see what its like.

There is a YouTube video on it, not watched it but saw it and thought I would post it here

You going to get a lot of stripped out stuff with any os like this. Most stuff might not work and without testing there will be loads of stuff removed under the hood that you might want.
Yeah I read about that too. In fairness, aside from the slower boot up times vs previous Windows, 11 is very snappy for my daily use including gaming so I'll probably just stick with it.

Plus I always create a backup image with all the apps installed every time I do a fresh installation.

I tried Tiny 11 last night and at first it seemed ok until I began running into issues with the USB ports not working and slow downs. This same laptop ran Windows 10 with no issues but I thought maybe tiny 11 might have been a better option. I like the idea of Tiny 11 but its got issues. I would like to see Microsoft release a super light version of Windows which is just very basic that doesn't have all the bloated apps and edge browser.

I'm reinstalling Windows 10 back on to the laptop so I think I will just be sticking with that.

Thanks for testing it out and saving me hassle of trying it out myself.

I agree that MS should release a light version of Windows or gaming version with just the necessary apps needed to game on.

You could install Windows PE to a local drive but using it for things other than a platform to install Windows from and recovery operations isn't really supported so you may run into similar issues.

@Mike01
Just in case it's an issue with TLS/SSL, worth downloading and running this to force enable any required Crypto settings: https://www.nartac.com/Products/IISCrypto/

Ignore the fact it's for Windows Server, should still work for W11.
Hello Yaayuh,
Thank you for your kind message and enclosed information.

I have tried the IISCrypto software as you have suggested. Unfortunately, the Errors still happen.
