Midweek Football *SPOILERS* 3/4 March

No, he wasnt, he was bloody awful and let Jonas run riot past him all match (the only thing i can think he was on the pitch for) yes he got on to Taylors dodgy back pass, but really, the amount of the ball he wasted either running it out of play or just loosing possession, was criminal.

The thing is, I'm not blinkered against certain players, he ran his heart out and he did stop Jonas a LOT, even though that's O'Sheas' job and not his. He linked almost all play, defended well and read the backpass and gambled.

What position does he play then? He played upfront for us and he was ****. Oh and didn't Keane miss a sitter in the last minute? :p

Perhaps if you had an experienced player, played in the right manor you might not be in the **** you are in the league now. Everyone said it was a mistake, yet Rafa knew best, sold him and now you have Kuyt, a player who miskicks the ball more than anyone I've ever seen (you can include Sunday League and park players), N'Gog who just doesn't look anything close to ready, Babel who is frankly awful and nothing else.

Ooops.

Serious? Nothing to do with him being ex-Man U?

Jonas' tackle on Park wasn't even a yellow, what did you want? Red?

He went through the back, full studs into the back of Parks right leg, it was a pointless and cynical tackle. To say it's not even a yellow was ridiculous.

No, not because Smith was ex-Man Utd, but that was probably the best performance I've seen from your lot this season, Smiths first game and he harassed EVERYONE, he was everywhere and worked solidly, we had so much more freedom in the last 10 minutes when he went off.

All of which was better than what Keane was producing. Kuyt may miss hit his shots but at least he hits the ball. The amount of air shots from Keane was shocking. But i suppose Keane scoring 1 goal for Spurs makes him a superstar now :p

No doubt about that mate, I wanted top 6 tbh, but when you've got a real chance of breaking into the top 4 then you can't let simple games go. Stoke the other day for example. Ok, we've had our fair share of luck and this might be the beginning of the end of it, but Arsenal have far too much quality to keep letting points slip imo. I think they'll take 4th at this rate, and comfortably - we've got United and Liverpool away next, and we'll be lucky to take a point from either.

seriously, comftably? before you go getting all downtrodden, from dec through now Arsenal have won 5 games, drawn 8 lost none. You've won 8, drawn 3 and lost 2.

Now if I tell you who Arsenal beat, WIgan, pompie bolton, hull and WBA, all teams in HORRIBLE form except Wigan.

Villa have beaten roughly the same teams with Everton(who were on form) West Ham, just coming good, and Sunderland, who we drew with.

We've actually both got fairly tough end games, however, we've got multiple cup games maybe while playing the "easy" teams we have left, then we play pool, chelsea, and man U almost back to back. You have pool and man u, everton, west ham, but then a easy run in to the end of the season.

So we've got probably a lot more games than you to deal with in and around the easy games, then the hardest run in possible. Its very VERY much in your favour right now.

I can't even be arsed to defend Keane or put Benitez's treatment of him down.

Keane having a hand in all 4 goals says it all.

No need to defend him. He clearly couldn't handle being at a big club and is back where he'll do well. Far better players have failed to make the step up. It shouldn't be that much of a suprise really considering how he done at bigger clubs like Inter and Leeds. Some players are just suited to smaller clubs where the team plays around them.

Anyone think it'd be quite amusing if Liverpool come 4th and Arsenal (in 5th) win the Champs League?

No? :p

Well when Liverpool won it, they finished 5th in the league, lost a total of 14 games and were 37 points away from top spot. The gits. :p

So it was a red then? What did he get away with?

You mean best individual performance or best team performance?

You had more freedom in the last ten mins because we went for it, you were counterattacking with lots of space, which is what you'd expect.
