Midweek Football *SPOILERS* 3/4 March

C'mon Chelsea!! 0-1 Assist by Bosingwa. :D Not impressed that RVP as my FF captain is not playing.

More like it. We look such a different team when we score and get some confidence.

Yossi should be one of the first names on the team sheet on current form.

He should definitely start, look at this pattern:

Starts against Wigan - goal
Starts against Portsmouth - sets up winning goal
Starts against Man City - sets up equaliser
Starts against Real Madrid - scores winning goal
Dropped against Middlesbrough - Liverpool lose 2-0
Starts against Sunderland - goal

lol a game where brunt has a believe a yellow card and has really only had one shot he gets man of the match, i think the WBA fans were like WTF aswell. How its not Bendtner in this game whose very unlucky not to have a hattrick I don't know.

Hopefully this will get things going. Too many footballers need a haircut.

*mutters to himself*

Bender misses again. I think the only thing that has changed in this match compared to most of our season as a whole is that WBA are so cack, and we've managed to put some chances away. Even in the last few games we've played, the only thing preventing us from winning was poor finishing.

*starts stopwatch to see how long it takes the BBC to update the Premiership table after a massive number of 3 games played tonight*

He really isn't that underrated. He has been one of the most frustrating player in the league though but over the last 5-6 weeks he's actually started putting a run of good performances together.

That Jones miss in the first few mins of the Liverpool game cost Sunderland, It was a terrible shot and just proves you have to put away your chances.

One thing I forgot to say is that Arshavin is ******* good and I absolutely can't wait 'til he's fit and has Cesc behind him. I'm getting too excited.

Good result but to be honest absolutely shocking defending from West Brom. Bendtner actually had his shooting boots on for once with 2 nicely taken goals but he still fluffed a few too many shots and passes for my liking. Eboue gash yet again. Why didnt RvP start? He was my FF captain :(.

Well as a gooner im just glad to see the win after soooooo many draws. Hopefully Robinho can score a hat trick tomorrow! :)

Robinho and probably Bellamy aren't supposed to be playing, depends who they go with tbh, SWP is a joke, Zabeleta has actually looked better the last two games being mostly attacking, but if Richards is out too and he's at right back, well, then the team is screwed. Will be a very hard one for them to win tbh, if Robinho manages to play his home form has been brilliant this year.

One thing I forgot to say is that Arshavin is ******* good and I absolutely can't wait 'til he's fit and has Cesc behind him. I'm getting too excited.

He does look quality, the only trouble is we now have Ade, Eduardo, Bendtner, Vela, Arshavin, Theo and RVP as strikers, of which Wenger loves Ade and all the others look pretty damned good. But for me Eduardo is world class as the furthest forward finisher and RVP is great anywhere.

Its another reason why for me, with the current central mids we have, that Eboue should play the DM and RVP whose played on the right before, could slot in there great as it means we can simply have more quality throughout the team than playing Song/denilson. I honestly can't see any reason why he'd buy Arshavin when he loves Ade so much, when/where is Arshavin gonna play. He looked more in for more of the game today because he was further up the field and central, he's clearly not a winger. Ok, if we were man U have a full squad with reserves everywhere then yeah, improve our backups and allow rotation with better quality, but with Djourou as cover at the back, and Denilson and Song starting loads of games the money was wasted on Arshavin. He's going to get a bum deal at Arsenal tbh, he won't play as often as he deserves probably and he won't in any way end up being our saviour so fans will resent that we bought him over a DM.

SEriously we played the worst team in the prem tonight and we were still under some heavy defensive pressure and they walked through out central midfield pair all game without any trouble at all. The second eboue went off we became a calamity down the right hand side, its partially that Ramsey has seemed really weak lately(even though often in central mid in preseason he won loads of tackles???), and partially that a Sagna/eboue right side gives us massive defensive strength that side.

I just don't get it:confused:

I just don't get your seeming love of Emmanuel Eboué. He is a decent backup RB, a squad player, nothing more in my opinion. He shouldn't play RW, CM or anywhere else.

Fair enough you show support to the likes of Bendtner, thats great as football fans that what we should do. And I agree Denilson is perhaps not suited to a DM position at this stage in his development. I can understand some of your frustration with Song (more suited to a CB role imo), I can to an extend understand why you might not be happy with Adebayors recent performances, but you show vitriolic hatred towards him, even when he doesn't play. Yet you show an unfloundering love for Eboue.

Why?

He's experienced enough, has played at the highest level both at club and international level, but he brings nothing. 3 assists this season playing most of those games on the wing is hardly great form, after all Adebayor has over twice that amount of assists this season.

RW is a position that he should be fairly comfortable, when compared to his regular/original position. However he rarely has great games, he started well against Spurs, but his red card whilst harsh when comapred to some descent seen in recent months was hardly a surprise, EVERYONE saw it coming.

Yet you want to play him in a totally different position. The odd flash in one game, only to tackle his own team mate, misplaced passes or miss kicks woefully.

I'm all for supporting our own, but to love one player and seeming hate another one at the same time, when one can argue Adebayor has added far more to the team in his time at the club than Eboue.

I just don't get it:confused:

Lost 1-2 to a hard working Reading team.

They were very good in attack, but offered very little at the back, we worked hard all game and thanks to 3-4 very poor decisions by the ref we should have won, or at the very least drawn.

A few horrible decisions ruined the game.

Yes, they were that bad.
Two fouls given, which weren't fouls when our player was through with a clear run from the halfway line.
One offside that was horrible, player wasn't offside.
One two footed tackle, against a Wednesday player who was on the floor already, was deemed to be a foul by the Wednesday player. Go figure, and this lead to the goal.

We played well, both sides did :(
Ref... Words fail me.
