Midweek Football Thread 20 - 22 *spoilers*

Still the lack of belief from you Frank, and Linoge is almost comical (unless it's negative psychology). Pool fans may sometimes be seen as deluded but at least they have belief in their team.

On a more positive note, Fabio was fantastic, Neville played well and both the wingers looked threatening. Great strike by Valancia when he hit the bar.

Afinkeev looked good too, albeit he seems a tad small.

our lack of belief? if you think we're negative fans your head would probably explode if you ever spoke to Nick or atpbx...

and you've just read mine...

Cheer up.

You must hate it when United win, nothing to moan about.

Are you on the wind up, where was your faith in O'Shea when the team was announced..oh yes here it was...

Well United have gone with O'Pie in midfield playing the holding role. I could quite literally cry.

No he plods around, generally does nothing and seems to lose arial battles to dwarfs.

I guess we can't all be super fans like you who expect Utd to win each and every game or question decisions.

It quite often does :D

We are spoilt, but some people feel the need to constantly be negative. If these same people supported a team like Arsenal, Spurs or Liverpool, it crosses my mind if they could stay sane.

I questioned one player who is not United quality for a CM, I didn't state that United could be on the recieving end of a disaster.

Neither did I, how about going back and reading my post again.

I don't understand Carrick not starting. Best we can hope for is a draw with that team selection. Could potentially be an absolute disaster really.

I'm going to stop arguing with you, you have an agenda to doubt United and SAF and if that makes you happy then fair play. You could probably do a better job. :)

I assume Fabio played well tonight then? I only caught the last 10mins unfortunately. It's about time he was certain to play left back when Evra is out, don't want to see O'Shea ahead of him really.

He played very well, but I think it's been known for quite some time that he has a lot of talent and Rafael himself as indicated that Fabio is the better twin.

Evra is one of the best left back's in the world, so he has a tough job of making it into the team but he should be ahead of O`Shea in the pecking order. However, he is small and pretty light weight so whether he is a feasible option against more physical teams away from home is something I currently doubt.
