Berbatov put a lovely little touch in for Andersons shot a few minutes before the end. Good enough performance, I'd say we're pretty much ok in the group now.
 
I think overall 3 points deserved. Concerned about the fitness of Vidic and Ferdinand though. Hopefully the pitch didn't aggravate anything.

How did Wes Brown do in the centre tonight after Rio was subbed?

BBC seemed to think that after Rio went off Vidic got a lot better - aerially anyway

edit - exactly , sounds like Berba deserved the yellow

3 points are 3 points though especially on a plastic pitch after a long journey, cant complain too much

Just hope Scholes playing tonight means he wont play Sunday - as Im pretty sure Giggs will play (and on current form deserves to / HAS to play)

We've won 3 titles, 1 champs league (1 runner up), a World club cup, 1 Carling cup in the past 3 years.

Have some faith....
 
No one doubts Sir Alex knows best (although scarily i have a sneaking suspicion that some people on here might) but you're allowed to debate and disagree with some of his decisions. Usually you'll be proved wrong but that's not the point.

I'm talking about the here and now and our form and team selection, we won today and deserved it in the end. It's easy to bring what we've won into it after winning a game, pretty pointless if you ask me. We were 5 minutes away from a goal less draw.

Still the lack of belief from you Frank, and Linoge is almost comical (unless it's negative psychology). Pool fans may sometimes be seen as deluded but at least they have belief in their team.

On a more positive note, Fabio was fantastic, Neville played well and both the wingers looked threatening. Great strike by Valancia when he hit the bar.

Afinkeev looked good too, albeit he seems a tad small.
