Midweek Football Thread *spoilers inside so watch out*

Rosicky has been rubbish all game, was expecting him to have some kind of influence over the game but he's miscontrolling everything.
 
Game over. Great strike. I'm not really sure what to make of it really. Had we played a stronger team would we have even won the competition with UTD and Chelsea still in there? And noting our squad we'd have probably picked up an injury or two.:p

So I suppose it's worth it then to just stick the kids on but I really don't know what Wenger would have expected other than a defeat.

What is disappointing though is that a relative non first team put out by UTD yesterday beat a full team Spurs. Pity we couldn't do the same against Man City who it seemed couldn't buy a victory until now.

I know. There was no way we were going to go through. We needed Hamburg to lose TWO games.

It's more about pride and putting together a string of good performances. It's not been going our way lately so we need this. Beating Viena away from home next would be nice.

Aberdeen at the weekend so we're in good form for that too.
