You're showing how little you know here. National Socialism in the context of the Nazi Party does not mean Socialist or Socialism in the sense of the political definition we know, the Nazi partys use of Socialism was an attempt to redefine what Socialism was, changing it from what they saw as the traditional left-wing class struggle to a right wing movement based on nationalism and racial ideology.
This is basic GCSE history.
Ooo. This is a subject I'm interested in
. Just a few ramblings on my part. Feel free to ignore them
.
Hitler certainly believed in social system which helped the poor and gave to the community and in that respect he believed in wealth redistribution which is a core tenant of socialism. The difference is that while socialism and communism aim to destroy nationalism and the nation and instead form one global communist state with the proletariat in charge Hitler was much more focused on Germany and the German people over what happened to other peoples. It was always Germany first (who else has been talking about their nation first recently? *cough* Trump *cough*) and other nations second. Which is why we always talk about national socialism because it was a strange blend of socialism, nationalism, racism and racial superiority that was what set the nazis apart from other socialist countries.
Here, let me give you an example of a Hitler speech:
"A new community is being built in Germany and it is our most beautiful goal and aim. Those who can't even see past their own nose deserves our pity more than anything else. It is the luck to help, which rewards those who commits themselves to this socialist state and this commitment must happen every new winter. Our social welfare system is so much more than just charity. Because we do not say to the rich people: Please, give something to the poor. Instead we say: German people, help yourself! Everyone must help, whether you are rich or poor! Everyone must have the belief that there's always someone in a much worse situation that I am, and this person I want to help as a comrade.
If one should say: Yes, but do I have to sacrifice a lot? That is the glory of giving! When you sacrifice for your community, then you can walk with your head held up high. Our belief in Germany is unshakeable! And our will is overwhelming! And when will and belief combine so ardently that not even the heavens will deny you. And I expect of every German with a sense of character and decency to march with us on our columns!"

Reading that speech it doesn't sound so unreasonable does it?
