Minecraft (online Lego essentially)

Wanna restore to the point we messed up lastnight and all the water came in?

Just after midnight i think, might want to check with the other guys first.

I think Lyon rolled back just after that - as far forward as 3am look good and doesn't look like much was changed from then until it was griefed - one guy lost a bit of work from the last hour which sucks but it seems to be the best point to recover from.

Yep I lost this....not that it was much,

Anyway I've started something else in it's place.

New server/client update is being rolled out by the minecraft devs atm so things are a bit slow as everyone updates I guess.

I've taken the opportunity to take everything down to move things around - I'll be posting a new URL of a new server with a clean world.

The original OcUK world will be back up again as well.

Arrrgh I want to play.

But when the Security message for the application comes up it wont go away / I canny click on it now. :(

It just kills the browser!

The sponge actually does soak up water! COMMON!

I just got hyped for Minecraft all over again.

OP edited with new link.

I was getting that - thought it was just me...

Only way to work around it is to delete the minecraft.net folder from your temp dir (C:\Documents and Settings\<<username>>\Local Settings\Temp) each time before loading the page (or clicking accept each time on the dialog).

Just a general warning...

There is a bug in the latest client that causes the system timer to go mad - so check your PC clock after playing - if affected you'll find its gained a few minutes - you can also compare the framerate using fraps to the in game fps counter to see if your affected.

Theres a few threads over at the minecraft forums about the security alert not responding.

Generally if you remove the minecraft.net temp folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp\www.minecraft.net
(path is different in Vista/Win 7)

You can get in once more after re-downloading, but you have to do this every time or click the option on the security prompt to not prompt you in future for this applet.

As I said earlier tho - keep an eye on your system clock - the current client has a bug which plays havok with the system timer on some systems - so don't be suprised if your PC suddenly starts gaining minutes - if your affected it will be quite "jumpy" playing the game too.

I keep getting booted "too much Lag".

Yeah your running into the bug I mentioned above - check your PC clock - it will have gained about 3 minutes on top of every ~10 that passes.

Was talking to the developer about it last night - but he was too tired to find a fix last night.
