Looking at those specs, it says for Camera Format: 1280x960, which would suggest its actually a #2.

EDIT: This one looks like a #3, UK seller too:

Actually it seems to be a #5 due to the photo resolution.

Just received mine this week, ordered from the link in the OP.

The USB connector that came with it, a small white one with the 'apple' symbol on is absolutely useless. I just used a PS3 cable and that works fine, just tested it out... for £9 odd quid... AWESOME QUALITY. :D
 
Anyone know a good place to mount this on a Focus? Just been for a nice long drive and got back to find the footage is useless due to the camera being pointed at the sky more than the road so its far too dark. Tried to stick it to the dash with duct tape and it wont stick. Also tried lodging it in the sun visor but it would be pointed too far down.
 
I remember reading it in this thread but don't fancy trawling through 35 pages... whats the max memory card these take and which brand is recommended? I know some of you guys are having issues with certain brands, please can someone advise which brand is recommended and what size?

I'd say duct tape it on the bottom of the front bumper, having a focus meself there's plenty of ground clearance but not much space anywhere in the grille unless you mount it further back near the rad but risk melting the camera

I've got 2 of these, one with an 8gb sandisk class 2 card, and another with a shops own brand class 4 8gb card, both work fine. :)

Thanks, I'll probably try mounting it outside the car tomorrow. I cant understand why no tape will stick to the dash though..even duct tape! :eek:. Guess there must be some sort of waxy coating applied or something...

I also asked them how much for a bulk buy of 20 and the price they gave me was more than they had them up for already. :p

Was literally just wondering how I can mount it without taping it.. Suction mount.. Brilliant :D


How are we all reducing the wind-noise when recording outside on a fast-moving vehicle? :p
 
Also just realised I've got a spare memory card from my recently replaced Nokia. Time to get both of mine recording at the same time :cool:
