Why is this so popular, it is just a video camera? do you people not have mobile phones or are you all sticking it on your cars?
I just can't think what I would use it for other than looking up skirts and general recording which would be easier on my phone.

I think its the fact its only £6-£9 and so can be taped onto your bumper etc without having to worry.
... and 99% of people won't even know it's a camera.

Plus the fact they record better quality, better than my old N93 with Carl Zeiss lens ( One of the best video camera phones about.) and with better results in low light.
I took mine with me today to Alton Towers, haven't looked at them all yet but here is an on ride video of their new ride Th13teen. 
The sound is mostly wind noise so I've cut most of it out.
Another on ride of Oblivion. Ideally I wanted the front row of seats but still!

The key chain #3 camera is very good for the price, but I also just received this today:
Will do some testing and report back.
Initially seems to have lower video quality, but in 1280x960 with a few frames duplicated here and there. However this baby you can just leave around and it's sound activated and doesn't look out of place on top of your fag packet

lol. Ordered 3 a couple of days ago, with the state of the no-fly zone looks like a lot of these will be delayed a while. Ive already got one though so cant complain

Yea will take awhile
just thinking though, will the package leave Hong Kong at all by air with this situation? I'm guessing the air mail doesn't come from Hong Kong directly to the UK, must have to stop somewhere, but do you think it will be on it's way to Europe now and then hold there until the flights resume here?

I know its prob been mentioned a fair few times in this thread but as I don't have time to go back through it all - can anyone recommend some good editing software to compress it to mpeg4 but also to flip video, have taken some vids with it sideways and want to rotate it 90 degrees Cheers!

I use Sony Vegas, that would do it but its not free.
