When i was young i always used to mess about doing stuff like this, i once tied a piece of string to a helium balloon and had it hover over my back garden, the neighbour thought it was a ufo, i would have loved to have this cam back then.

Also remember the time i found out you could shoot bangers through the air like mortars using a pipe. :p

Thought of another good idea for these pussy cam! No you perverts not that, strap one on your cats head and see what he gets up to :D I'm definitely going to try this, I'll have to make a little cat helmet or something.

Hahaha, this is WIN! although, what would be best is designing the helmet to be able to attach the camera infront of the cats face. So when you play it back you get that weird effect that the heads not moving but everything else in the background is.
 
Any of you know the low light performance of the cam?

I'm wondering if it will give a decent picture from use on the road with only street lighting for illumination.
 
Here is a video from my number 3 keyring camera attached to my slow stick. Great thing about these cameras is that they are so light they can be placed on model aircraft without any problems.

(Looks like the encoding messed up at the start and makes the video skip during takeoff)

It's been done already, though this is great if you want to see what your own cat gets up to, also i don't think this one had video, it just took photos ever 30 seconds. :D

cat cam is an awesome idea. ive always wondered what my cat gets up to all day. hamster cam would be cool, if you had one of those pipe mazes or something.

why does ocuk always have threads which are impulse buys :( i always end up buying something when i come browse on here. lol
 
Got one from the link in the OP, hopefully it'll be a #3.

I wonder how easy it'll be to baffle the mic to prevent excessive wind noise? A bit of blue-tack and some foam might do the trick...

Cat cam is an amazing idea. I dont even have a cat or even like them but im tempted to get one just to fix it up with a camera so see where they go!

I have one of these 'Sony Micro M2 2GB' Would this fit inside or do i need a different card?
