Someones made a better virtualdub filter to get rid of the time stamp on a #3.

That's the one I ordered, should be enough for over 1.5 hours use if I'm not mistaken.
2gb will get you around about 30 mins. 1 hour of video is between 3.2GB and 4.8GB depending on what is recorded.
Seen a 8gb for £10.50 don't think i can say where from on here though. Cheapest i can see a 4GB for is £6.50, gonna hold out and keep looking for the next week as it wont arrive for a while! A 4GB should then pretty much last the battery life.

That's not too bad price wise Jacob, I'll have a look around for those. Really wanted something just to get me started, and it was all I had left in my Paypal account.

Aww damn, just went to buy one only to find that my PayPal account as been suspended because I used it on Steam at the start of Feb. Nice to see they suspend it AFTER the transaction. Apparently Steam is "fraudulent activity"

It's been done already, though this is great if you want to see what your own cat gets up to, also i don't think this one had video, it just took photos ever 30 seconds.

Tethered helium balloon is a great idea, unless you're going to combine it with a GPS locator. Anyone found a link for a cheap one of those?

They also sell a more expensive one which you can control over the mobile network via SMS. It's £90 but I think that is a great price considering the features.
That wouldn't work, the converter is designed to turn a SD card into a IDE device and not the other way around. The cable is just an SD card extender so that wouldn't work either.
