Crime
Scarface - Terrible acting, terrible story filled with plot holes, bad soundtrack.
Action
The Dark Knight Rises - Seriously terrible film with the most stupid plot holes ever.
Sci Fi
The Matrix - I didnt mind this film, but come the **** on.....an average film with slow motion action doesnt make it amazing.
Comedy
Anchorman - Apart from about 2 scenes this film is not funny.
Crime

I don't see it being rated at all either way! It's an utterly bizarre film and although i would never own it on Blu-ray etc, you can never say it's boring!

I don't get the hype, maybe back in the day it was great but I was bored throughout. might of been as I was expecting so much from all the hype.

I just don't get the unyielding love that people associate with this film.
I thought it was fine, but for me it was not a great film. I haven't watched it in a long time, but I seem to recall it was rather slow to get going. The second one I enjoyed more.

Totally agree.
Zero Dark Thirty - I wouldn't even say the scene at the end would give this more than a 0.5/10 from me. Like all the boring bits of Homeland (and there are many) with a badly staged SEAL raid at the end. ZZZZ
The Detonator with Wesley Snipes is pretty awful, predictable and.... just awful.
Company of Heroes - my goodness, this could have been great but it was the most clichéd war film ever. They would have been better off making it a spoof with it's predictability and shameful plagiarism. Best bit was when Neal McDonough (Buck Compton from Band of Brothers) appeared and I mistook the film as a crossover of the HBO series... 10 seconds later my disappointment resumed.
Kill Bill franchise - total pap.
Sin City Seriously don't get the appeal of this film. Watched it twice in the hope the second time I'd actually get it... I didn't.
Shawshank Redemption - seems to be one of those films you 'must' love but I endured it once and never again.

I agree with District 9 - i like it but again, not the amazing classic people seem to think it was imo.
Another vote for Sin City - i thought it was dire. I dont understand how Clive Owen gets work - he is without a shadow of a doubt one of the worst actors i have ever seen, and i am including really bad b-movies ones.
