MOTO GP 2011

I will stop watching when the riders have this.

OH I disagree, all riders have a gentlemanly respect for each other. That doesn't mean I'm not going to throw a last minute, late braking pass up the inside on the last corner with the back end sliding and skipping on the off chance I can make the turn and get the win.

Gentlemanly respect doesn't mean taking it easy on each other, it means you know that everyone else out there is damn good and more than capable of handling a bit of paint swapping. :D

Of course all riders will have respect for each other. Thats not what I'm saying.

I'm just disagreeing with Garidos interpretation of the phrase.

Actually my interpretation is spot on with what Dureth said. You misunderstood it took it out of context. Basically

No, you said Stacey wouldn't moan unless he had good reason to, like the Lagun Seca race, which is imo one of the best battles of recent years.

Which means, "basically" that you don't think there should be any contact.

And please don't bring up the corkscrew corner, where you think Rossi should have magically hovered off track until Stacey had passed.

People should only moan when there is genuine reason too, being forced off the track or a rider coming back in dangerously is a genuine reason. It's a shame your pathetic trolling still continues albert ;)

Which means, "basically" that you don't think there should be any contact.

Basically, riders whould respect each other and not try and take each other out. I have a feeling you're trying to twist words here. Respect must be given. There is a reason why the riders are in MotoGP. You can't just force people off the track or take people out and not expect people to not complain about it.

And please don't bring up the corkscrew corner, where you think Rossi should have magically hovered off track until Stacey had passed.

Haha, you don't want to bring it up because it was a dangerous move. Only pass if it's safe to do so, ie, not go off track, then on, force rider wide.

We've been through this. Quit blocking your ears like a child :)

EDIT: To emphasise again

Gentlemanly respect doesn't mean taking it easy on each other, it means you know that everyone else out there is damn good and more than capable of handling a bit of paint swapping. :D

^ completely agree

I like fair and enjoyable racing where there is a mutual respect and space is given to riders.

^ What I meant here is that if there is no space, don't try a bonzai pass which will result in an accident. If there is space, by all means go for the pass. If you're being passed because you left door open, don't suddenly close the door and take your rival out (leave them space to complete the pass and try to counter next turn).

Racing can be fun and hard, just not with blind, stupid or dangerous decisions. In the 3 incidents I have mentioned (Laguna Seca-Stoner, Jerez-Gibernau and Jerez-Stoner) I feel there are valid reasons for the riders to complain against Rossi.

Hopefully you can move on now.

There really is no point trying to argue with you, as you have no idea about racing, and for basics physics for that matter.

Mwuhahahaha,aaaaahhhhh hahahahahahaha.

Come back once you've done a few seasons of bike racing and say that to me again. I have trophies on my wall to say I know otherwise. :p

In the 3 incidents I have mentioned (Laguna Seca-Stoner, Jerez-Gibernau and Jerez-Stoner)

Rossi - Stoner @ Jerez...unfortunate. He could have waited but the amount of riders that went down show just how bad conditions on track were. A **** up on his part i do admit...

But

Rossi - Gibernau @ Jerez

Rossi - Stacey @ Laguna

Laguna, hard battle...Stacey fell off much later on his own. Rossi and Gibbers, was tight but i do think Sete turned into him and was a 50/50 at most...most important lesson learned...all these 'dangerous' moves you have quoted, who won that years championship?. Get in the head of your opponent and you've already won...

Again another pathetic insult which reflects upon you (saying I have no idea). I have a very good idea about racing and physics. There are rules in place, even on Sunday riders such as yourself where you don't re-enter a track blindly, or put yourself in a position to do so as it's extremely dangerous.

Funny how you can't respond to those incidents I raise mainly as they destroy your points ;)

Stacey did fall off, I don't disagree with that, but I've always felt that Rossi is a habitual line stepper hence why I cited these examples. Rossi has an enormouse amount of talent, as does Schumacher but sometimes I think their motivation to win is so strong, it clouds their judgement (fair call?).

I'm just glad that Rossi at least has some competition now and has had some for a few years.

Nice guys don't win championships mate. For all Rossi's smiles, he is a cold calculating mother under all of it...
:)

Please explain this, as you keep banging on about it.

You think Rossi, who was in front of Stacey, should not have "blindly" re-entered the track? What should he have done?

Oh you say he shouldn't get himself into this position in the first place. So you're saying riders shouldn't try and out-brake people?

And please quit with calling people trolls. All we are doing is calling a rider by his nickname. You're the one posting things about Rossi's private life.

Please explain this, as you keep banging on about it.

You're also banging on about it, the only difference is that you're incredibly ignorant and blind.

Again another pathetic troll on Casey's name demonstrates your attitude and character. If Rossi could not pull the pass off safely, he should have not pulled the pass off at all.

In doing the pass he
- Left the track/cut part of the circuit
- Re-entered the track dangerously
- Forced rival wide

Oh you say he shouldn't get himself into this position in the first place.

Bingo
- If you can't pass safely, don't pass
- If you have to leave the circuit to pass, don't pass
- If you cut the track/chicane (as above)

So you're saying riders shouldn't try and out-brake people?

Firstly stop putting words in my mouth, as I've never said this. It makes you out to be more a fool than you currently are.

I think riders shouldn't skip/cut the circuit. If you do, give the position back regardless of whether it was accidental or not.

The pass should be completed on track (this means ALL of the pass).

You are a troll. You can refer to him by the proper name instead of slagging him off. If you asked him what his nickname is I don't think he'd take to kindly to "Stacey". What you do is no different to calling a few certain football teams by a derogatory name only to incite someone or a group of people (which is apparently banned here). Regardless I've spoken with a mod and they are watching this (mostly you) very closely.

Well done you.

It's just an easier way of saying Casey Stoner the moaner.

You can defend him all you want, but he hasn't got the reputation for nothing. Kicking out and punching other riders for getting in his way, tapping the back of his bike because he doesn't want anyone following him during qualifying. Sarcastically clapping Rossi as he crossed the line at Jerez. These are not the actions of a professional sportsman, but of a spoilt child. He has won the Championship 1 time. Who the **** does he think he is?

There is no wonder everybody hates the man.

I still think it's pretty pathetic to rag on someones name, really says a lot about your character (or lack of).

Rossi has a reputation among certain people for having an ego and being a primadonna. He has a reputation for not taking ****. IE, if some idiot rejoins a track dangerously, he'll speak his mind. If someone crashes into him and it's not Casey's fault, you'll hear it. If someone moves into his path dangerously while slowing down, you'll hear it.

I agree with his actions, someone takes you out at the highest level, you'll be ****ed. He's a great rider, better than you. Consider the fact that there are GENUINE reasons for his complaints.

He's pretty well liked here, fantastic rider and not because he's Australian but because he's pretty honest, down to earth and very talented. People tend to hate those who are stupid enough to bag others for their names and non genuine reasons ;)

He's a great rider, better than you.

Ouch, that really hurt.

I have no doubt he is a good rider (when he has 7 titles under his belt, I'll consider changing my opinion on that), but he sure does love to moan.

Consider the fact that there are GENUINE reasons for his complaints.

I'll repeat it as it doesn't seem to be getting through.

It isn't a fact. They are genuine reasons in yours and his OPINIONS.

The reason he has got the nickname is because most people think they are not genuine reasons to complain.

Comprende?

You cry more than Stoner ;)

great rider in fact. Considering the seasons he has had compared to valentino on the machinery, he's done VERY well. Maybe give him the same time frame and he might have more titles.

Not sure if you know but Valentino has been around longer, a lot longer. He sure loves to win though. You moan more than he does and over incredibly stupid things mind you. Like I said, strong reflection upon your character ;)

I'll repeat it as it doesn't seem to be getting through.

Let me repeat it to you as it doesn't seem to be getting through.

1// IF A RIDER TAKES YOU OUT, YOU HAVE A VALID REASON TO BE ANGRY AND COMPLAIN.
2// IF A RIDER CUTS THE TRACK TO PASS YOU, IT'S WORTH COMPLAINING.
3// IF A RIDER SHIFTS INTO YOUR DIRECTION AND SLOWS DOWN WITHOUT DUE CARE YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO COMPLAIN.

These aren't "opinions" rather it's common sense and to argue against it (like you're doing now) is incredibly stupid. In the same way we can say a car that swerves into you without looking, is it an opinion or a valid reason to be angry

The reason he has got the nickname is because most people think they are not genuine reasons to complain.

They are genuine reasons

Comprende?

Haha no, go back to square 1, start again. Seriously. Do you even READ the garbage you type?
