Motorsport Manager

My car really sucks - can't see me overtaking many teams ahead. Too much needing to spend money on.

Just had a fun race in Munich. Needed to pit for repairs, just as I am about to the heavens open and a back marker puts on wets. I figured why not! Cars infront don't pit, they had only recently put fresh softs on - track is drowned, my main driver catches and passes them all, taking first place on the final corner!

I prefer at least real team names, drivers develop and change over the years like football Manager but some semblance of real works better for me, hence posting it for those that may like to try either way.

There is also a legends mod if anyone fancies going back a few years as well.

No one else having issues with back markers? Every single race they cost me. Just had another when I was leading, got stuck behind a back marker and was passed by 2nd and 3rd place. Took me another couple of laps to get by.

So I started off with ZRT (a team from the US). i finished my first season in 9th.

Fast forward to season 2 and I am struggling. I'm halfway through the season and I've fired one driver to free up cash. And hired top notch Designer and Mechanic. Problem is I'm still struggling. In in my last race my main 1st driver crashed. Not only that but we're haemorrhage. We're losing around 70k per race lol. It would've been a lot worse had I not dumped a few people and cut costs elsewhere.

Upgrading my factory doesn't help either. My current balance is minus three million lol.

Get a better second driver (you can get some good young unemployed drivers), work on reliability of parts, work on strategy to get better results.

I didn't notice this was out, I've been playing the mobile version on and off for a couple of years now, this looks pretty similar but with more options and better graphics, £25 seems a bit steep though, how much more is there to the game over the mobile version?

Anybody else played both and have any comments? I played the mobile version until I'd won everything. Huge F1 fan but not sure the price currently warrants over what I've already played.

Eurogamer put up a decent review. Blows the mobile version out the water. Way more depth to this game than I expected. I am hooked :)

Only in my first race series too. Will easily get value out of this.
