just got back from a long weekend in France, drove from Exeter to Dunkirk, then to Epernay and Reims, across to paris, then up the coast on the way back. was an amazing weekend, and whilst on the way to Reims we decided to go via the old f1 track where the stands and pits are left abandoned and thought i would share some images....

is an amazing place!!

i could only see him going there if mercedes thrash red bull in 2014 when the rules change. otherwise what would be the point, assuming vettel prefers wins/championships rather than money. and he wont be on a small wage at red bull either

Tom Blomqvist joins McLaren's Driver Development Programme

"Tom is rightly considered to be a very bright prospect in single-seater racing, as demonstrated by his presence in the shortlist of finalists for the 2011 McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award, the ultimate accolade for young drivers and a programme which McLaren has had the pleasure of supporting for more than two decades," said team boss Martin Whitmarsh.

Kinfisher Airlines is not Vijay's major business though, so he should be fine.

And good to see British drivers getting some backing. He will need to get some decent sponsors behind him if he wants to make it to F1 though.

For those that subscribed to F1 Racing a few weeks ago, I got the latest copy in the post this morning so expect you guys should get this as your first copy?

Nice pics. Would love to check that out someday if I'm ever in that area. :)

With seats potentially available at Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes next year, Hamilton seemingly has options available should another lean season ensue.

Load of rubbish. :p

As if he would go to Ferrari or Red Bull. Neither team would even want him as they've got their own stars. They wouldn't be interested in two egos fighting and taking points away from each other.

Only place he could go would be Mercedes but unless they take a clear step forward this season, it would be a worse place than he is currently at.
