So that is CoA, Miami, and Vegas. Lewis is going to love that as he can spend more time in the States.
Doesn't Ricciardo live in LA?

The latest Bourne film had a big car chase down the strip, admittedly it was pretty cool. Insane they're doing it on a Saturday night. I guess if you have enough money, you can do anything you want! (Definitely rings true for Vegas!)

F1/GP racing often had races on different days of the week before the '80s. Hell, Silverstone F1 races were always Saturdays until 1983. And as @Jimbeam3678 noted, they'll want to keep it out of the way of other US sports in the weekend schedule.
Have you been to Vegas? Shutting down the city/strip on a Saturday night was my main concern :p

(Granted it probably actually makes little difference if it's a Saturday night or a Tuesday night there!)

Side pods will be full of those xxx stripper card things the wide boys dish out on the strip.

I thought this was interesting - sorry if its a bit large!
New 2023 Vegas circuit v the 1981 Caesars Palace GP layout....

It was 8 years since I was last in Vegas but that map suggests they're only going down half the strip. It certainly doesn't go as far as the Luxor / Mandalay Bay / MGM Grand.

Now, I'm not saying they should have as that'd make it almost entirely 1 long straight but it definitely feels like they tried to keep the circuit to an area of the strip. The bottom right section of that map is embarrassingly bad too :(

Also - I know its April 1st but this has been rumbling for months now - decision on VW (Porsche & Audi) F1 entry expected to be confirmed next week - speculation still surrounds Porsche and Red Bull doing a deal and McLaren becoming Audi's partner.

The Reuters report is dated as March 31st so I don't think it's likely to be a fools. Besides, I don't think Reuters do them do they?

Vegas looks like a **** hole. No wonder they have to hold it at night to make it look better.
It really is, it has a glittery shiney vaneer, as soon as you stray from the strip its an absolute armpit of a place, I'm sure it has some nice parts, but as I found with LA, the reality dosnt meet with expectation.
Not somewhere I'd return to in a hurry.
