What a great interview. Jodie Kidd is such a massive fangirl.

Mansell > Hamilton imo.

Statistics do not show everything but the fact he won at Hungary in the dry from 12th on the grid is amazing. Breaking the lap record 13 times in one race. Racing the entire 1992 season with a broken foot. Just to name a few.

He could have easily been a 4-5 times champion too if it wasn't for politics or rotten luck.

I'm sure that Honda are immensely happy about their IP being handed over to Porsche....

Its not being handed over though is it? Red Bull Technologies don't own any of the IP to the Honda engines, the head of Honda confirmed a few weeks ago (At Austria GP I believe) that they never completed the deal to transfer the IP.

Red Bull Technologies will be solely working on their new Porsche partnership with Honda looking after the "Honda" engines until 2026, I fully expect to see the "Honda" engines branded as Honda on that Red Bull next until 2025

4 WDCs is a decent haul for any driver. It's difficult to see what more there was for him in the sport, I wish him well in whatever he does next.

Yeah this is true, nothing else to win - I don't think he's as driven to keep racing in the same way that someone like Alonso is.
Wonder if he'll go and do WEC/Sportscars or something now, would be a good fit

There are certainly loads of seats in WEC, maybe back to Ferrari for their Hypercar project?

Now I wonder who will take his place at AM. I genuinely don’t know. Latifi maybe as rumour is Piastri is in at Williams.

Not surprised to be honest, he gave Aston a chance to pull a decent package out of the bag with the new regs. Seen they’ve still got a total dog and he’s wasting his time
