I doubt binotto will change much. The problems at Alpine seem to be systemic from the exec level - exactly as it was when they were Renault.
Also don't think it will change much. But happy to have binotto if that is true

Good video on the Renault/Alpine mess:
Nothing new or surprising there, but seeing it all spelt out does bring home what a rolling crisis the team has been of late.
Wonder if they'll stick with the sport or sell the team.
Given the wodge of hollywood cash they've just snaffled up, I think they're in it for a while longer at least.
Somebody posted a link a few page ago about how the new DTS/yank audience has dropped off a cliff since the new regs came in.F1 seems more popular than ever. Not really sure why. But I guess with budget cap it's profitable for these companies?
How do you mean? There's no such thing as free TV in the US.I wonder if it's around the same time they went from free-to-view to pay-to-view.

I thought I was going potty, the cars appear to be driving the right way round but the map was reversed.Pretty neat but the track map is backwards
Would not surprise me. It's red bull after allJust doing a post and run.. https://www.gpfans.com/en/f1-news/1001284/sergio-perez-clause-max-verstappen-red-bull-contract-f1/
Are we believing this? Can’t figure out any real reason for this to be in a drivers contract?
Lots of job contracts contain performance related clauses. Just because you hate red bull doesn't mean you need to break out the tin foil for some kind of conspiracy. Are we believing this? Can’t figure out any real reason for this to be in a drivers contract?

Why are you harping on about conspiracies if you think Perez agreed to it. Nothing to do with hating RBPerez clearly agreed to this, so essentially he's only got himself to blame.
I think it surprising that it’s linked to Verstappen’s performance. If it is, it kinda proved it’s a one-man team right?Pérez wasn't in a strong negotiating position was he? We've seen Kimi near bankrupt Lotus by earning too much in performance bonuses, not surprising there are clauses going the other way.

And the way it’s written he could be within 125pts but sitting in 5th place if the results had been closer between other drivers this year. Surely a better way of writing it would be he needs to be in second place or better, or something.
Yeah. But it rather dictates the one driver system we all know RB have. If it’s true it should raise massive alarm bells for anyone tempted to go there *cough* Lando *cough*.But I guess you need to formalise it somehow, and pts behind is simplest.
