Mountain Biking

Trying to!
Have been offered another couple of frames, an XC, m4 and a Rockhopper FSR.
The M4 is a bit overpriced, the XC has been modified and the Rockhopper is cheap enough, if he agrees to my offer :)

That really is gutting news - those trails were so good :(

On another gutting news note, if anyone here knows anyone, or is interested in a monster spec reign ... let me know. Made the decision to let it go for now, as I won't be riding it at least for another year I wouldn't have thought.

Move to Australia - so monies and time... and I'll be surfing a lot, so its best for it to be sold now. I'll get something later on when the dust settles.

More green bits for the Solo

:D

I have three more retro FSR frames I am building up over the winter. Got loads more bits to get though. Getting stuff from the local bike project, eBay and retro bike forums slowly to keep the costs down :)

You could probably build one decent bike, for all that old stuff you have lying around ;)

Nooooo!

Good luck SC, watch out for sharks!

So there is a massive lack of built trails in Cyprus, nearest being about an hour and a half away. I go on holiday for a week, come back and they've bult a full on DH course (for a race this weekend) about half an hour away :D

It doesn't look all that bad too!

We are having a bit of a warehouse clear out. Grab yourself a bargain and watch out for further items being added over the coming days including:
Zee Brakes - £125
XT - £90
SLX - £75
50% off Selected new forks
Up to 82.5% off RRP on ex-demo forks

One of their comments said 45% off Pikes, which could be a bargain.

Edit - Maybe not, £400! I paid less than £500 new, but then they do claim they're worth £800...

Loving the stem stack and lenght on that tracer >..>.

It's not the first time it's been mentioned. ;) It's a small T2 with an incredibly short head tube. If I cut the steerer any more ( yes it's already cut a fair bit), then it won't fit any medium sized frames. I also have an Angleset at -1degree ( 66d HA) and a 70mm stem for what is still a short top tube by modern standards, which makes it look a bit weirdererer.

It's a set up / bike, I'm happy with. Next up is new brakes and a hub service. Enduro bearing fail. :/

On the Solo...upped the travel from 130mm to 140mm on the forks at the Wife's request. Not enough inches apparently.

Stuff it I'm going to get some tubes so I can ride this damn bike fo now.

Not even the flash charger is touching these tyres for some reason and I've run out of patience.

Tried soaking the rim with soapy water, right?

yup. think its just the squashed mess theyre in where schwable stuff them in a box. will run them tubed for a bit and try again.

new stumbling block though, my rear brake hose is too short as the tranny is about 5 miles longer than the trek was..

to do is down to:

new hoses
fit gear cable
fit chain
fit stealth
set up suspension
