Mountain Biking

Yep, seen that. I'm pretty sure it was £250 and he is willing to add the Reverb for a further price.

I'd be looking about £4-500 for frame and fork...

Only one I can find on ebay is a AM (the £1800 version) that sold for a £1000! :/ Making mine worth £7-800 fully built. I'd rather just keep it at that price.

That's a massive loss! I would only let my Zero.1 go for something starting with an '8'. Anything less than that and I'd keep it for Wiggle/Evans organised rides that don't warrant a full-sus.

EDIT: This one? That doesn't seem like a bad price to me.

Was probably Supercow's group :P I think there were 16 of us in total.

Was a really good ride! I have no idea how some of the guys know/remember where the trails are. Apologies again for getting lost 'Cow, and thanks for the invite :) Would definitely do it in the future.

Haha, no need to apologise - still baffles the mind how you managed it, takes some doing losing 15 other people :D

Can't see as at work (blocks ebay) but going by the link it isn't. I've had mine for sale at £1200 for a few days now and not even a bite. Makes more sense for me to buy a framset, slowly upgrade and re-build the hardtail again.

As I doubt the frame will sell. Plus I still love it!

This is the one I seen..

It didn't feel impressive at the time :P

Kevin did it a little later on too, while actually following everyone along a flat gravel road... so don;t feel too "special" :D

Was anyone around surrey hills today?

I saw an armada of bikes out there. Lots of capras and santa cruz

yea, could have been us, there was a couple of Crappas and a fair few SC among the group - one with the Miami Vice coloured Nomad

Where can I find pictuers of the various frames in each coluor for the Aeris?

It's stupid that they don't have them on their website.

I'm the worst person ever at making my mind up, I'm thinking rt3 in blue frame and keep the sweeps till I move abroad and pick up some pikes. Take the ht with me, with a purpose of building it back up again..

Is the ccdb worth the £200 over the rt3? Am I going to want it in a few years time...

Was there a chap on a nuke proof leading?

If so, I was with a friend on a Kona hard tail. We crossed paths several times.

Begbie, go for the Monarch debonair, you wont want for anything else later on. Didn't you say you;re down South at the moment - come try my bike out, should give you a good indication?

Snax, there was a guy on a Nukeproof...but wasn't leading per say

Yeah I'm not sure why but I thought it was the plus model, which it not being somehow puts me off. That and I'm hoping the bike lasts me the 3 years I'm in Cyprus. Also read from you and others that the tune they've done on the CCDB is amazing, which makes me excited.

Down south, but Cornwall. I have tried a lapierre with the RT3+ back to back with FOX CTD and the RT3 was much nicer.

Work is sending me (RAF). Very lucky, going to be a big change from Cornwall.

Just when I was in two minds about a new bike this gets posted! (30 minutes away from me in Cyprus) and also ridden on an Aeris (Bird sponsor the Army Enduro team)

Just waiting on an email back, so I can hopefully get a headset pressed with the order :)

HALP!!!

Guys, bit of advice please? I'm trying to grease/lube the master cylinder piston on my Hayes Stroker Ryde brakes - they are doing the infamous 'lever not returning once pulled' thing requiring the piston to be pushed out slightly and the first seal greased. I cannot for the life of me work out how to get the piston to come out? Places online say 'remove the push rod and regrease the outer plunger seal on the piston'. I've removed the push rod but cant see a way to get the piston to come out? Apparently you only need to have the piston come out slightly, enough as to expose the rubber seal and that way you shouldn't need to bleed the system.

Also, while I'm at it, I wanted to remove the levers themselves and clean up the mountings then lubricate them but I can't see how to get the levers off? Am I missing something obvious? Pics indicate the pivots but they aren't allen headed or anything. How does one remove them?
