Mountain Biking

If it was my choice, again, 125 will be it. If you were closer to 6 foot, then my opinion would have been different. You'll be entirely safe getting a 125 reverb.

Just judging by looks here, but looking at your bike vs the Aeris for example, thewanted can get away with sticking the 150mm on there, because he has a lot of standover for such a big bike.

Thanks supercow. Asked a workmate the same question too. He also thinks I should be fine with 125mm. Think I'll go recheck that I'm definitely happy with that seat height at home and then get spending :D

It felt small to him ^^

That privee bike is alright but its aimed at 3 years plus? Surely a kid should be pedalumg by then?

My nephew rides a balance bike, and loves it. Allegedly it's more beneficial for them than riding with stabilizers as it helps their core strength/balance/awareness etc. From the reading I done, most kids will go from a balance bike straight to a normal bike without stabilisers.

Case in point, Jackson Goldstone

To the ripe old age of 10

I know the benefits of a balance bike. Its just 3 years old+ seems a little old.

I had my lad riding a balance bike from around 10 month old till around 2 maybe 2 1/2 now pedals like a bawse at 3. Done the family route at fineshade which is 1 1/2 hours pedal time. Hes got a commencal ramones 14 but thats getting small now so maybe the 16 will be coming.

To be fair hes like most lads n loves wheels, hes mental on a scooter. Would love to get him a lil pw50 but the missus draws the line there :-(

It felt like my elbows were tucked into my stomach. I didn't like the reach.

That's because you need to bend them ;)

My girls are half human, half otter. They swim like they were born in water, but they just plain suck at riding bikes :( Thought I'd get my eldest riding like the wind by now, but at 4, she's just crap :p

Girls and bikes is hard work fo shizzle.

Boys and wheels are easy. Hes got no fear and does things on that bike that make me turn away cos it can only end in tears! Full pelt hitting curbs to get air time, balancing on curbs like macaskill, going down steps....

Damn, I was hoping the girls will be like that, but it aint happening :p

Sweet, the constant going on at the misses has convinced her she needs to take me to Morzine for my 30th in August.

Now I really need to get out and get some miles in and something I really need to improve on is making some bigger drops.

Still got Aston booked for the 1st June so hopefully the weather holds out this time. :)

Cant wait!! :)

I had a rip on my mates bike with kevlar pads at wales as his sintered died at half time (more than likley dead before we got wales knowing him) and they were incredible even though they were on old xt brakes, put my trail 9's to shame!
