On the road....
Above are the police removing a protestor for protesting outside the embassy, just "following orders"

I somehow imagine they would be following orders but very much doubt they would be white supremacists.

Or are you implying those officers in that picture are not following orders and acting purely on personal prejudice?

No theyre removing Mr corbyn because he was deliberatly trying to protest outside the embasy after a ban had been put on protesting there.

He could have done it anywhere but they deliberatly went out that day to break the ban.

No doffernt to today there are areas in london you cannot hold a protest/rally.

If you do so you get arrested for public order offences or moved on.

More on the fascist terrorist who murdered Jo Cox:

The man who allegedly attacked and killed British MP Jo Cox reportedly had links to an American neo-Nazi group, with British media naming him as local man Tommy Mair.

The Southern Poverty Law Centre said he was a supporter of a neo-Nazi group based in the United States and had what it called a long history with white nationalism.

"According to records obtained by the Southern Poverty Law Centre Mair was a dedicated supporter of the National Alliance (NA), the once premier neo-Nazi organisation in the United States, for decades," the US-based legal advocacy group said on its website.

The group said he had spent more than $US620 on reading material from the National Alliance, a group which called for the creation of an all-white homeland and eradication of Jewish people.

PLEASE, people, let's not POLITICISE the political assassination of a politician over a political issue by a gunman who opposed her politics.

(the above may or may not have been unashamedly stolen from Twitter)

Not surprised by this horrible development. The nationalist nutters have been hearing about immigrant invasions and loss of sovereignty for months, they have been urged to "take their country back", to defend it day after day on TV and various tabloids. If the report about the MP being a target is correct, then this is the direct result of that vitriol.

And we're off

Hate to be pedantic but anxiety or depression is a 'mental illness'.

Regards the reports she was a target, is there anything to point that it was in relation to immigration or similar? Seems strange that she would be the one targeted for that and not many other MP's with the same views.

It could be that the incessant anti immigration ramblings we've had to endure may have been a contributing factor but we'll have to wait and see what the investigation uncovers so let's not go there until that time.

You don't think that this referendum is whipping up hatred? Didn't you see UKIP's new poster yesterday? A party supported by 13% of the country unveiled a poster that apes Nazi propaganda. That's only going validate a neo-nazi's views in his or her eyes.

When people say talented MP etc. You do know she nominated Corbyn for leadership. Then voted for his competitor and wrote about how weak a leader her nominee had been after he took over. She campaigned for action in Syria then abstained from the vote etc.

She also campaigned for us to do more for Syrian refugees.

Just giving some context on her political career.

Come on, you're better than this.

Media frenzy.... yet again.

Yes its sad, but people get murdered every single day but because someone happens to be a MP it gets all blown utterly utterly out of proportion. It actually makes me slightly nauseous.

I'm saying the details are unknown at the moment but if some of the reports are confirmed than yes, the campaign played its part in influencing this nutter. I don't recall the last time there was a Nationalism related murder in the UK, it would be an incredible coincidence for it to happen now and not be related to the current political climate.

The dry cleaner owner who originally was reported to have said this nutter shouted "Britain First" has now pinned up a note in his shop window denying that he ever said anything of the sort, apparently it's totally wrong.

How about all the people killed by the IRA? Wasn't the Admiral Duncan bomber connected to Combat 18?
