Yeah its a hindsight thing, I should've kept it but when I rang to ask they were saying all the orders were being cancelled as they shouldn't have been listed (which I now know is not true). I'll just wait patiently and see what happens!
I did that whole merry go round thing last time, calling up retailers, switching orders from one cooler to another etc and in the end, ended up with a lower end 2080ti that was sadly faulty for gouged retail price from same gougy retailers, receiving it much later than I would have had I kept my day 1 order of a much better card. You live and learn.

I'm fairly new to the whole GPU overclock undervolt thing, having only done it once before about 5 years ago.

I've also not downloaded the techpowerup GPU app yet to look at the hard stats.

However, on my ventus I've implemented an undervolt at 0.875.

I've then pushed the clock speed up by 100mhz and memory speed up by 500

Using the benchmark in R6 siege it was fully stable, utilising 96% of the GPU and gained about 5fps (3840x1600)

I actually tried pushing the mhz up to 150/200 and memory to 1000 and the benchmark still worked with no crashes, gained another couple of FPS.

I feel like I must be doing something wrong though, considering most people only seem to be getting 40/50 extra on the clock speed.

Not to mention, i've not tried any "proper" benchmarking software, so maybe it's that?

What I can say is from what I've tried, I got about 5-7fps more then stock settings.

No problem, did it tell you what you wanted to know. This is all at stock by the way. Not tried overclocking yet.

Yeah. It as about psu requirements. The rest of my system barely draws 200w so unless somehow the card is spiking to 500ish then I'm very confused by the min psu requirements and think rather it's a quality thing.

Ive not been checking the logs but thats the maximum ive seen so far on firestrike and it always maxes out the same when i run that.
I played GTA V tonight for an hour and it every time glanced it was around 2040.
Hopefully get more time to play tomorrow.

Your Ventus boosts really well, here's my Gaming X Trio for comparison, stock except max power limit and 100% fan:

Ive got my Ventus up and running and doing a few benchmarks & temp testing.

All at stock the fans goes to 80% and ive not seen the temp go over 64 Deg yet

Max boost ive seen so far is 2085. Will have a play with OC now.

Have you had any issues with games crashing due to the high GPU clock? There's been a few reports on here/reddit (and others) of games crashing after a few mins of gameplay.

@Devious thanks for sharing and please do share more as OC the card. Was starting to worry I had preordered a not so great card.

Ordered mine from the "Paper to Digital" place begining with "S".

Got confirmation email at - 14:13
Order tracking site says - Order Received - 15:40
Payment Authorised - 16:47
Payed - £649

Technically by their update Im within the 6 week allocation as I have paid £649. Who knows where I am in the queue based on this or when it may arrive.

For the time being sticking with the order.

God, reading all the comments I still have doubts about this card. I have ordered it on the release day (here in Spain) and I will receive it on the 5th of October. But I'm not 100% if I'm going to keep it. Quite worried.....

I tried ordering the Ventus at 2pm on 17th but couldn't get onto the website. Eventually managed to get a card into my basket and checkout around 4pm and my bank card kept declining for some reason.

So in the end, I didn't get mine ordered until 21:10. Gutted haha. I'm 776 in the unofficial queue. Be surprised if I get my GPU this year. Paid £710.

Only reason I went with the Ventus is because I've got the Fractal Design Meshify C case and don't have much space so had to go with a slightly shorter card.

Just read that seems (or lot of people saying it) that is the worst card of the 3080s, the temperatures are too high and stuff like that....

I wouldn't worry. There's been a lot of Ventus bashing recently but at the end of the day, there's very little variance across the cards in terms of actual performance. Of course some will run slightly faster / cooler out of the box but nothing you're going to notice in practical terms.

Great to read that! Just for my knowledge, with which temperature should I be worried? I asking because in my opinion I have a bad PC Box, so maybe the first days I will be checking temperatures in order to change the box if needed.

Thanks!
