MSI GTX780 Lightning due 07/08/13

Got mine yesterday after returning a dreadful Msi 7990 , overall its a superb product , no issues at all, did an easy 1250 on the core with a 10mv increase and the power slider up to 108% , temps stayed below 70 degrees fully loaded.

Very very happy indeed ! , now i just need another.

Just let it run, make sure you are monitoring temps, not because you will do damage but because your components will automatically throttle down when they reach a certain temperature limit.

Thanks. I'm having to use the test bench for now as I'm in the process of re working the AIR 540 water cooling with Rigid Acrylic... hopefully by the end of the weekend everything will be neat and tidy in the 540

This is a 100% temporary setup just now, i don't normally have tubing all over the place.. will get a block for this at some point.

Didn't know this card was so long, i had to take off the fan grills to get it in.

Don't have the 120 rad in top just now either.

Ok well did a couple of benchmarks with everything at stock including the CPU, to start with.
Single Lightning for now:
3DMark11: = 13,300
Firestrike: 9,900

Now should I try clocking with one card first or just go for the two

Possible reasons for the disappearance of khemist:

1. He blew his rig
1a. He stuck a custom bios on his new card and bricked it
2. Got lagging watching the England game and did not come back
3. Card is so awesome he stayed up all night overclocking it and has prepared a 5 page report which he is going to post this morning
4. Someone from the forum burgled his house.
