MSI GTX780 Lightning due 07/08/13

Well having seen the due date for classifieds move to late September I decided to just forget about ATI's next generation and go for the Lightning. Glad I did too as there are hardly any left now... I have a feeling this might become a rare beast.

So roll on tomorrow SLI 780 Lightning's on their way.

Hopefully EK water blocks will follow fairly soon, going to seem a bit daft running a 240 rad and a 360 with just the CPU on the loop doh.

I have mines in Storm Stryker and its as far as ive seen never gets above 61 im adding a lamptron Fan Controller tomorrow and upping my 240mm rad cooling with gentle typhoons, so I think ill put the 2 120's on the rad just now on the bottom of the case just to route more air through :)
 
Good idea, been thinking of swapping the fans out on my 500r, the stock ones aren't really powerful, might strap 4 Corsair performance 120's to the side :D should keep the 780 cool.
 
So 24 pages in on the 780 lightning thread and all we got so far is a 770 lightning owner who is not going to overclock his cards.

What a troll :)
