** MSI RX 480 GAMING X 8GB ONLY £212 (AFTER CASHBACK) !! **

My only real annoyance is down to how windows manages multiple monitors still. You'd think they'd have that sorted by now.

Actually, since the latest radeon update i'm getting a link error. Pretty sure it's because one of the monitors is 144hz @ 1080 and the other is 60hz @ 1200 and it's trying to set the 60 at 144, but i can't really confirm. Most google results point to an uncertified DP cable, but, it's a Dell one and was fine before the update. Although, thinking about it, i'm only running it at 120hz since 144hz apparently is not supported. Doesn't really bother me too much.

Well it seems that because I've accidentally sent my dispatch order in my original letter instead of invoice my claim has been rejected and they won't accept my actual invoice which I've attached in an email because it's too late :(

@Gibbo is there anything you could do to help out a chump who made a genuine mistake? Or know of anyone I could contact?

I sent my cashback claim in on the 20th November. I chased about 3 weeks back and was told it would be paid in two weeks. The original form said to wait 10 weeks. Going to call them next week and give them another 14 days otherwise I will pursue it with legal action. They have had my money long enough.

Good on you, if they don't pay up though please follow with legal action, if you are unsure what to do next Citizens Advice should be a good place to go, it's a fair amount of money too, makes you wonder what the warranty would be like if it needed replacing...

I spoke to the chinese lady sitting in the cupboard under the stairs and she confirmed that I would receive my payment this week. cool. Not a very well organised bunch though, I have to say.

Still nothing on my end. I suspect that this 'sometime next week/end of week' may be a canned response. I fully understand that they are holding the money as long as possible in order to accrue max interest, but what can we all reasonably do if they keep messing us around? Is getting a bit annoying now.

Any sort of redemption deals MSI run now will just be met with mistrust and skeptism, really silly of them to behave like this.

I'm sure there will be an apology issued and maybe a free download but it wont make any difference to peoples feelings in the future.

Received a response: apparently they offload the cashback to an agency and they haven't been having a good experience with them, they apologised and said it will be with us this week.

They are aware of this thread now too, and also the general consensus of unhappiness with how it has been dealt with.

If I don't get my money by Monday,I will be calling OcUK to discuss this with them. I bought the card from them on the basis that they said I could claim cashbook from msi. If this proves to be a false statement, then I think legally my dispute is with OcUK as this is the company with whom I have transacted with.

I too have had to raise this with my POP they say they will chase MSI.

MSI have made a complete mess of this and I do not trust them to pay..

I made a choice for an MSI card over overs due to this offer and I do feel that they are taking the mickey!
