Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

They do, but they are rev5. It looks like the rev5 uses a 5x2 pin header for the connection to the receiver, while the rev6 uses a long 10x1 header. I've only found 1 place that has the rev6 one for sale, but its out of stock.

What receiver are you using?

Does it do sbus or cppm/ppm? if so, you shouldn't need the breakout cable as you can use those.

I always just used servo connectors and fudged it by pulling the pins out of the connectors and popping in the ones I needed. Not the most elegant solution but it worked.

A really old one, which doesn't support PPM.

The other option is to buy a Rev5? There doesn't seem to be much difference other than updated sensors?

If you can find a rev5 then no reason why not.

The only differences are;

slightly different IMU (not really much, if at all better)
Barometer on the acro version (not needed)
sBUS inverter on board

Yeah I got mine from Radio C. Shipped today so hopefully will be here tomorrow so I can spend Sunday trying to remember what all the wires on my quad do...

Argh, selling the parts separately from my DJI F450 on Ebay is just as much a hassle

How do I sell this!

If this dont work then im going back to trying to sell it as a flamewheel kit ARF again.

I hate ebay

Argh how do you sell the F450 kit ?!? It's impossible without losing a ridiculous amount of money

Auction has screwed this up now.I had to use my dads account to add bids so the bits didn't go for pennies.

Djmk4 if you use Facebook there's a group called Drone junkyard uk that you can sell on there if that helps and quadcopters drones private For sale in UK only

I've had some decent parts off them

I really like that group, but it offers zero protection for both parties to sell that way which puts me off.

Rubbish. It's common sense to use Paypal and pay for goods/service giving you buyer protection. Same as it is here.

Am fedup of trying to sort the issues on that group due to the idiots not using the safest method going.
